Yet more geese. Quite a lot of them.
Anyone reading this entry on top of my last few entries may be starting to wonder if I have some strange obsession with geese. Well, I don't. I just like being able to see wildlife and take photos of it, and the geese here are just the most accommodating example I have handy, particularly when they're being fed. I promise there will be no more geese after this. And anybody who wishes may skip this post. The rest of you, read on.
I'll start you off gently. Firstly there's the mandarin ducks. They don't get close enough for really good pics, but I like them, they're colourful.
Then there's the coot, with chicks. Which I took lying down at the water's edge.
And then...

...there's the goslings.
It's amazingly easy to get good closeup photos like this if you just sit down so that you're less tall and scary, and offer them bread to eat out of your hand. Some of them were actually clambering over me to get to it.
