I found this year's feedable robin back around February. Two or three times a week I would go down to the lake on my lunchbreak with a little box of dried mealworms, and if I was lucky he would be there to fly to my hand and feed. Two days ago the new Airbus A380, the largest passenger aircraft in the world, made its first landing at Manchester Airport. 7,000 people crammed themselves into the viewing park to watch it, but I got a pretty good pic of it taking off over the treetops from Mary's back garden ( Read more... )

Went round the lake today for the first time in a long time (I feel like I've been neglecting it).
