Well, I just got back from lunch. We went out so one of the girls could show off her new car (and because we really needed to eat out). Well, yesterday was my Birthday. It came and went without too much ado (I think we have enough ado in the world right now). The gang at work took me out for lunch and I chose the local BBQ place, Squeelers. The meal was great. I ordered the BBQ Nachos. Well, it would seem that the movie "Dreamgirls" is totally da bomb! beldar couldn't stop going on about it. I really wish I had gone as dinner was not spectacular but still, it was good to spend time with my co-workers and we did have a pretty good time. I've gotta say, I love my doctor. Yesterday, beldar had his appointment and talked to him about the fact that my insurance is denying me my medication. He gave me 6 weeks worth of meds for now and is going to see what he can do to get them to cover it. Quick update. Weekend was very busy. Friday afternoon we went downtown to pick up our Media passes for the Fringe Festival and we stopped in to Lane Bryant to pay on my credit card and I ended up buying a bunch of clothes dirt cheap on sale. Well the weekend went without much ado. I picked up my old mammogram pics so that I can take them with me Friday when I get the new ones and of course, I looked at them. Yes, there is a splotch on my right breast but it appears to not be anything bad, it just appears to be a bunch of the area blood cells are all on top of one another. I can see why ( Read more... )

Friday evening we ran errands and bought a spiffy new saute pan that has been put to fantastic use over the weekend. Saturday the concom lasted for freakin ever but still it was good that we went.
