Ah, the Golden Bowl. If they actually adapted the plot of that story, then it was the stupid awful execution that made me miss the similarities. My review here.

Wow, it was actually worse than what they trailers showed it to be? And Kim Chiu wasn't the worst thing about it? My world, it is rocked.

Yes. Everything was so bad, you overlook Kim Chiu. You were right about Derek Ramsay being an awful actor, though. However, Angelica Panganiban was also awful in this. There's this one scene when Gabby tells her he bought her the house, she's supposed to weep tears of joy, but she ends up looking frightened instead.

This is why we have DVDs and torrents.

kailan pa naging decent actor si gabby concepcion? =/

and i've already watched ang darling kong aswang, and you were wrong about one thing: Because Agot Isidro can really rock comedic villainous roles.

yes, i agree that Agot can rock comedic villainous roles. the problem is, her aswang role is neither villainous, nor comedic. it just was. =(

Whut? I thought na they cast her as the villain (again, all this is based on trailers, posters, and ranking of names on promos). Why the hell would you cast Agot Isidro in your comedy if she's not playing a villain? Were they on drugs???

the villain was played by jean garcia, and a cullen-channeling rafael rosell.
