The three women and the young girl looked at each other and smiled briefly as they each went to post something on the notice board. Funny how everyone seemed to have the idea at the same time.
"I hope you don't mind I added you! You have to be part of it!" Lucy was excited too, practically bouncing, "Plus, if there's more of us, people can't get as mad, can they?"
"I'm glad you added me," I say with a giggle. "'Cos I wanna be an explorer too." I look around, watchin' for people to come on up to the board an' see our notice. "Yeah, grown ups always say safety in numbers or summat. If there's a lot of us goin' 'splorin', then we'll be safer." That's what Atticus would say, at least.
"Yes!" That had been exactly what Lucy had been thinking. After all, how could Susan get mad if it was three or four or five of them, all doing things together? "It'll be more fun that way too."
Wilson saw Tosh's note and sighed a little bit. He'd been trying for nine months to get medical histories, even with an announcement in the paper, the number of participants was less than half the island's population. "Maybe being able to type will help," he murmured. "I'll cross-check my list with what you've got to make sure it's accurate after you start testing. When House and I started taking medical histories, we took the patients' word for it. But I know mine's A pos and I'm negative for all major viruses, except CMV."
Having journeyed from one end of Narnia to the other, wandering an island, even if there were dinosaurs, didn't worry Lucy at all. "Wherever we can." Part of Lucy thought that if she wandered long enough she would find something here, some proof of Aslan, or Narnia, or... Something.
Glenn had told the woman not too long ago he wished to learn the weapon she had been seen fighting with. He did not forget their agreement, and when he signed his name on the list, he added, (will be happy to give lessons in swordsmanship in return) under it.
"What's Bantos? I mean, past the martial art." She twisted to look at the taller woman, a brow having risen in curiosity.
She didn't know if it would be useful, but the mere chance that it might seemed to be worth it. She paused before grinning, and sticking out her hand. "You can call me Shadow."
"Shadow, I am Teyla, daughter of Tagan." She responded, smiling. "It is a form of fighting, with sticks." She motioned with her hands, measuring out the length they often were. "It requires agility and flexibility, as well as dedication."

"What're you doing?" she asked, clasping her hands behind her back.
