The three women and the young girl looked at each other and smiled briefly as they each went to post something on the notice board. Funny how everyone seemed to have the idea at the same time.

"What's Bantos? I mean, past the martial art." She twisted to look at the taller woman, a brow having risen in curiosity.

She didn't know if it would be useful, but the mere chance that it might seemed to be worth it. She paused before grinning, and sticking out her hand. "You can call me Shadow."

"Shadow, I am Teyla, daughter of Tagan." She responded, smiling. "It is a form of fighting, with sticks." She motioned with her hands, measuring out the length they often were. "It requires agility and flexibility, as well as dedication."

Shady smiled. ".... I have two of the three," she said as she laughed. "Bo staffs? Or just... sticks?"

Either might work.

"From what I have been told closer to Bo staffs, but shorter. They must be rather stout."

"Well, if you like, I'm more then willing to train with you. I've not done much with staves in the past hundred years or so, and I'd love a refresher. They never were what I was best at." Shadow grinned, her eyes crinkling at the edges.
