One of my students (who is diagnosed with severe autism) cried for the first time today.
4 years ago, he was known for his self-injurious/ aggressive behaviors. 3 years ago, we met. 1 year ago, he learned to be 70% independent and able to use simple words/ phrases. And today, he showed care and emotions.

This is a ground breaking.

Sean cleared/ organized out our pantry and I canned some peaches. We are one step closer to being prepared for the apocalypse. It feels awesome.

My results came back from my ''almost 30'' health check and all came back absolutely, impressively awesome. Well except for my B12 results, which came back average (not impressively awesome). My doctor then adviced that I take Flinstones Brand multivitamins. Hm.

This fall I am taking a Doctorate Seminar, Ballet I, and Aikido. What the heck am I doing?

I was forwarded a position that would entitle me to use my ideas in a whole new level. .. like telling other teachers to follow my program. This is almost administrative, but not quite pay-wise ( Read more... )

My mama called me to tell me that she is going to Philippines in October. I knew this. She then continued to tell me that she might not come back. This I didn't know. The whole, "I'm not coming back" was something I was supposed to tell her.. not the other way around.
