Intro Post - No Event {Mild Aphro}

As the girl slipped slowly back to consciousness, something was off. It took a moment for her to fully register what exactly seemed out of place, but it soon became obvious when she tried to shift her weight in order to roll over, the many layers of the long skirt of her gown limiting her movement.

Her gown? Why was she still in her clothes if she ( Read more... )

Before she can get close enough to the door to open it, the door is flung open, a tall, lean looking man standing in the doorway. He lets out a soft sound of surprise, eyes widening as he takes a step back. Bringing his hand up to his chest, the handsome young man gives a heaving sigh of relief--this girl didn't seem dangerous, and was pretty cute!

"Sorry, is this your room m'am?"

As the door had begun to creak open, Amelia let out a small squeak, stumbling backwards, bracing herself in case she needed to lauch a spell. This could be an attack after all, and she was going to show any evil doer what for.

When she saw the young man in front her her, she could only gawp, staring straight back at him. He didn't look evil. He didn't sound evil. In fact he seemed just as confused as she was. His words confirmed this for her, which just caused a much more bewildered expression to appear on her face.

"My...room?" she questioned, blinking in surprise before quickly shaking her head and waving her hands in a desperate manner. "No, it's not, definitely not! I mean it can't be, I don't even know where I am."

"Oh! So you're new." Zack smiles gently, seeming quite friendly despite the large sword strapped to his back. He had no look in his eyes, no leer on his face despite the nice bust this newcomer had to her.

"You're...probably going to freak out, but we're sort of trapped here. You and a whole lot of people. Some good, and some bad." He had encountered a little bit of both, but did a fine job of saying it all in a steady tone despite how the bad ones had treated him.

Amelia had often been teased by her friends for being rather simple minded. Yes, at one point she thought the best way to know if someone was a villain was if they wore black, but she had thankfully outgrown some of her more silly tendacies, though not all. Even if she did give even the worst people the benefit of the doubt, she didn't see anything wrong with that. Everyone had something good in them surely, some just needed a chance to show it more than others.

Needless to say, nothing she could see in Zack indicated she couldn't trust him. He seemed so big and friendly, and with his sword he almost reminded her of Gourry. Tilting her head, she tried to return the smile, only for her features to quickly change on learning about where she was.

"Are you...serious?" she gawped, her mind slowly taking it's time to process the information, one of her fists beginning to clench.

Zack's gaze lowers to her clenching fist, and if he knew her better, he may take it in his hand in an attempt to calm her down, but he didn't, and since he had more to say, there was no telling if drawing closer was yet a good idea.

"Yeah...gets worse too." His gaze meets her, a serious look on his face. "We're all trapped in this place that makes us want to have sex, pretty much. Sometimes you'll wake up in here strapped down or feeling really really hot and..well, you know."

Her head lowered and her grip tightened. While she did hear what Zack was saying, her mind passed over the details. The bottom line was that people in trouble. They were being forced to do things against their will, probably scared and suffering. That did not sit well with Amelia, not in the slightest.

"That's..." she paused, her head snapping up again as she raised her right fist. "Completely and utterly UNJUST! Who could do such a terrible, evil thing?! As a keeper of Justice I cannot let this wickedness go UNPUNISHED!" she cried, trying her best to look serious and threatening, something that was rather challenging considering her attire.

"Well, that's a pretty cool little speech." Zack smiles, chuckling and rubbing the back of his head a little bit. Spunky little thing, wasn't she?

"Except..nobody has ever seen who is behind this. Not that I've ever heard, at least...and there doesn't seem to be any exits here either unless you count sometimes going home after you do what this place wants."

Amelia paused a moment at his reaction. She was used to getting odd looks or being told to calm down and stop rambling, but he thought her speech was...cool?

It lifted her spirits, even when he said there was no escape. She just looked more determined than ever.

"Well, we'll have to see about that." she replied with confidence. "I'm not about to submit to the will of villain's so easily!"

Of course, she was saying all this while breathing in the aphrodisiacs, completely oblivious to the effect they were having at that moment.

Zack nods. "Well, that's good. I fight to the end too...but what about good guys?" Zack tilts his head somewhat, a soft smile on his face as he takes just a small, subtle step closer to Amelia.

"What do you think about a handsome, nice guy that thinks you're pretty cute?"

Once again, Amelia was left without words. The only difference this time was that she could feel her face beginning to heat up as he spoke. She felt rather hazy, but did her best to remain coherant, smiling up at him.

"Well I'm always happy to work with other allies of justice!" she proclaimed, not sure how to address the cute remark at that moment.

"Well that's me!" Zack replies, leaning forward somewhat with a curious look on his face. She could feel that heat, and Zack could see it on her cheeks.

"Are you...blushing miss?" He asks, smiling and giving Amelia a wink.

Instinctively, Amelia shifted away, but not too much. She didn't feel threatened, just a little uneasy. It was her, not him. The girl was sure the tension was due to her own discomfort in trying to adjust to the sudden change in situation.

"Am I? Oh, well it rather warm in here isn't it?" she stammered, straightening her posture to appear less tense. The princess did not realize however, this just made Zack's view of her chest more prominant.

It did indeed, and he made sure to subtly enjoy the fact. He had been here long enough to appreciate without being obvious, the taller man straightening up as well, his arms crossing over his chest.

"Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot to tell you, but there's aphrodisiacs in the air. That's probably what's making you feel so weird."

"Aphro-..." she mumbled, trying to think of where she had heard the word before. It might have been from her sister. Gracia had a bad habit of knowing things she wasn't supposed to. The older princess had rambled on at some point about them, but at the time she was too young to understand what any of the words meant.

Now she did know. And she reacted by clasping her hands over her mouth to supress a panicked squeak, face flushing more.

Zack gives a little wince, understanding her reaction perfectly well. "That's how I reacted at first too." Though perhaps not quite as bashful about it.

"Yeah..sorry you had to get stuck here along with the rest of us."

After watching him a moment, Amelia lowered her hands, feeling a little bad about her reaction. It wasn't as if it was his fault. Depending on how long Zack had been trapped, she could only imagine what he must have put up with. And yet he was being so nice and understanding. She tooks a deep breath, looking up to meet his gaze.

"Well, I guess it could have been worse. I feel fortunate I've run into someone so nice and helpful." she smiled, hoping to ease his concerns.
