It's not so much that "something was taken from me" when I was an infant, it's that PART OF ME was taken, and there are quite tangible physiological consequences because of it.

My glans is not supposed to be dry like a raisin, it's a mucous membrane with way more nerve endings than can thrive on an exposed head.

So yesterday I hacked down untold numbers of blackberry vines/bushes to clear the periphery of the garden. I spent the rest of the day learning "Blackberry Blossom", a traditional fiddle song played on the banjo in melodic style.

For a crappy 7 year-old laptop, it's starting to get pretty tricked out. Yay Ubuntu for making it sleek enough to run it all :p

But I find myself at a loss as to what to articulate into words...too few thoughts, or just too many.

Handy little app that posts to my blog. . .I don't have to navigate to livejournal, remember my password, and go through all the rigamaroll to post something. Now with just a click of a button, a window pops up, I enter whatever meaningful thoughts are floating up in the ol' noggin, then click "post" and voila!

Monadenia fidelis (Pacific Side-Band snail) is prolific here.

Picking up garden litter today I collected 10 of them (shells a little larger diameter than a quarter, bodies about 3" long)

More research is needed, but so far I can tell that I need to
