In a (possibly temporary) attempt to get around the new comment box, I have enabled custom comment pages. It's fairly similar to the old layout, but the narrow column made it less than ideal for fill posts. With custom comment pages, the old-style comment box should still be in place, with the subject line and preview options, though as best as I ( Read more... )

Ooh, that is useful! I might wait for the issue with comment expansion to get fixed (that's kind of an integral thing for the meme, after all), but I'll play with it on another account and see how it does. Thanks for the link!

Users have been reporting that even though they turned off automatic payments, when they went back, it has been turned back on.

Seriously, go check right now before you get landed with a bill you don't want. Also, please spread the word around so that way more people can hear it.

I don't want to be picky, but is there any way the mods could choose a different layout for the KM? Maybe is just me (and if it is, I'm sorry) but brow with light brow letters and that font doesn't let me read properly. Maybe something with, let's say, white background and black letters, perhaps?

Again, I don't want to bother, but I've seen a lot of KMs with the "Aquatic Moon" or the "Black Pit" journal style and I think those work great for KMs with the old comment system included in the layout style (for subject lines)

Just a thought :)

That is definitely possible. Really I chose it based on similarity to the old layout, color-wise - I probably should have pressure-tested it first, so to speak.

I've changed it now, to a much cleaner and simpler layout that I hope addresses the issues you were having with reading it. Thanks for pointing it out.
