Hopefully, this will all work out...

Blurr cut the comm with Ironhide, and sighed. However, it wasn’t as bad as he had originally thought. He had liked Maggie, and this new male seemed all right. He also seemed to be recovering, so hopefully Blurr wouldn’t have to deal with its corpse. That and Maggie would be sad. He wouldn’t wish her that. And Ironhide had taken Lennox with ( Read more... )

Bayverse Maggie

It was way too early. If the powers that be had wanted Maggie to wake up before noon voluntarily, they wouldn’t have granted her a legendary knack for programming on top of an already killer body. She had better things to do at night than sleep as long as she could remember.

But she was trying this new thing, waking during daylight hours, at Matt’s not-so-delicate suggestion. Sure it was overrated, especially with the Shack being empty no matter what time of day, but she’d stick with it a little while longer and try to get used to it for his sake. This was technically Maggie’s second attempt at a day time schedule since entering Shack life, but it was much easier to wake up and adjust back when the place was packed full of personalities and, well, structure ( ... )

Blurr shifted his bedding to the side, and looked down at Maggie. “Hi, Maggie.” He frowned. “Are you hurt?” Slag. Not even a breem on the job and one of his charges had already come far too close to his feet, and dropped her fuel. He wouldn’t have stepped on her, he was far too aware that he was sharing the Shack with two fragile organics to let his sensors stop scanning for even a moment.

Bayverse Maggie

Maggie might have made a mess but thankfully didn’t burn herself. It took her a moment, but she shook herself out of the initial surprise in time to utter a response. “N-no, no I’m fine. Hi! It’s just, wow, where have you been? I thought you left too.” Like the others. But they couldn’t be... “Did you bring anyone else back with you?”

Maggie wished she hadn’t let that last question slip out. It was stupid to ask, and she should’ve be happy enough to see even one of the missing mechs return. She was! She just got caught up in the moment over the possibility of there being more.

Blurr crouched, double checking he wasn’t about to dump his bedding on the other human, but he was still off in one of the little rooms. He set the pillows and blanket off to the side, and looked down at Maggie. “I never left. Recharge in my berth every night.” Though maybe he should get in touch with Sides, be certain they were all still in Nexus. It was so lonely in Shack anymore, especially compared to how things were when Blurr first arrived.
