*after talking to UT Starscream via comm over her cell phone, helping to cheer up G1 Rodimus Prime, messaging with Mikaela and talking to Devcon, she finds herself feeling numb after the last and wishing she could do something to change how she feels. She writes in her palm pilot again as she walks along the path to the medbay.*

IDW Perceptor

After the events that had transpired with Kup, Perceptor had been very into his work, so to speak. He still blamed himself for what had happened, whether the older mech wanted him to blame himself or not, and he was now determined to make sure it didn't happen again.

But even the most dedicated scientists need breaks which is what had Perceptor out and about, collecting more data about the area that was his current home.

Kneeling down as he examined some of the flora, movement out of the corner of his optic made him glance over just in time to see a human head up into a tree. Curiosity getting the better of him the scientist straightened up and wandered over, glancing upwards at her as she settled.

"Are you alright miss?"

*jumps a little as she sees him, having been broken free of the thoughts weighing her down.*

U-uhm... I'm fine. *she says in a nervous and apprehensive tone before seeing the Autobot insignia on his chestplates.* What's your name?

"My designation is Perceptor," he said, a hand coming to rest on his chestplate as he leaned over just slightly in something of a greeting bow. "I apologize for startling you. It was not my intention."

No, no, it's fine. I just... I was going to the med-bay to ask about learning how to do repairs and other mechanics but something's weighing heavily on my mind. *she explains before giggling.

*notices the human in the tree and flies in a little loop, suddenly distracted with wondering if he knows her or not*

The green medic was lazily strolling down, taking a break from whatever he has been working on, when a flash of colour in a tree caught his optic.

Walking over he spies a human femme, sitting about faceplate height, in a branch.

Are you alright little one?
You seem distressed.

I'm having problems... love problems... and I don't know how to change them. Perceptor-san gave me some advice but I still want to see if there are other options or if...

*she looks down, not entirely willing to explain everything.*
