*Sigh*
I had hoped that by dropping off the list last month, I would be able to work on other pieces, and actually get something written.
Alas, it is not to be.

Take the joke with a grain of salt, please (answer at the end)

Why did Ironhide change his armor color from red to black? )

Just a comment on number 10(X). The "cyberforming" of other planets is a canon theme. You'll find it in the G2 comic series. Still a good idea to explore in more detail.

Cyberform's real?
Cool!
Thanks for telling me where to find it.

*Sigh* On the one hand, having a malleable background and history, Transformers writers can make up stuff and not depend (or be forced to follow) what others have already established.
On the second hand, it makes it harder to distinguish between 'fandom' and 'canon' - and even hard core fanatics who wish to stay true to the official published versions can find disagreements and crevices or canyons.

I think that's what makes Transformers so fun - everyone gets to have their own personal opinion, and so what if no one agrees with you? The science doesn't even have to be real - it just has to sell and entertain!

I've been in the fandom a long time and I've always found it amusing when fanon becomes canon.

Not to mention that a lot of times, the fanfiction authors have better , more consistant stories than the so-called official stories. Like the TF novels or Kiss Players. *shudder*

When fandom becomes canon it's either due to telepathy , or because the idea makes sense and is rational ( ... )
