I'm getting old and I need something to rely on...
The last time I bought a laptop was when I'd just started college. I was studying journalism and, while I convinced myself I needed one for the sake of being studious, I really just wanted to look the part of a modern writer. That was in 2004.

I am the same - we got a new laptop but i cant bear to part with our old, oh-so-slow one!

LOVE to hear I'm not the only one - it really is WAY past it's use-by date but it's been so good for holding out so long that I can't just throw it out!
