We're not really going to use that, are we? It's unsightly! This boat is in dire need of some painting to be presentable and that skull on the flag? Creepy!

You can start by finding some paint, of course! Red should do nicely. Perhaps one a little on the purple side, if you can. It should be bold, but not too bold. I can fix the flag and the sail myself.
