Hi. Um... My name's Simon. I pilot Lagann, the little robot from earlier. You probably already heard about my bro, Kamina; we come from the same little underground village, Jeeha. We escaped from there, and... we're here now, I guess.
It's nice to meet all of you.

[Simon can be found in the hangar in Lagann's cockpit... which takes up the whole suit. He's looking about at all the buttons, and holding his Core Drill.]
I wish I knew a little more about how this thing works... All I know is that it drills into things, and it only works when I put this drill into it. Which isn't much.

[Lagann isn't exactly a powerful fighter, but it does a couple things well. One is getting under things, another is drilling. And yet another is getting out of the way. Simon's having trouble with something that he's fighting alone, barely managing to get out of the way of attacks by drilling under them. If he could get a clear shot, he could drill into the enemy and take it over, making all this a non-issue, but...]

[Simon was having trouble and wondering how to get out of this mess... and then you were struck down. Whether you're his bro, Nia, or someone else he's gotten close to, it's like a switch was flipped. Simon goes from the meek, passive kid you're using to seeing, to someone that wants blood for his precious person. Perhaps you're still conscious enough to notice this (and/or try to stop it)? Or you're standing by while the violence unfolds?]
