You've handled the hostage situation well. The GGP and BMA were locked in their own struggle and used civilians as pawns. Maybe you remember the way they huddled together, shoulders instinctively drawn up to show they were no threat, the pleas, the sharp scent of fear. Rin certainly does. She approached you and bows, which makes her long, unkempt hair briefly hide her face.
"I want to thank you for your help. I'm sure a lot more people would have died if all of you hadn't been there. I'm Rin Ogata."

You've handled the hostage situation badly. It required a delicate hand, calming, sensitive to actions that might set the two volatile factions off. You acted like a typical hero, guns blazing, shining, yelling, inspiring music playing in your head. Look where it got you. Normally sweet Rin approaches you with an uncharacteristic fury in her large, brown eyes, hands balled into fists at her narrow hips.
"How could you?!"

Outside, she's set up an obstacle course. On top of Fuego, she's weaving between the cones in a comfortable rythm. As she reaches the furthest point out between two of them, she spins, hitting between the next two seamlessly.
If you know her pedigree, or have seen this before, you'll probably recognize what's happening here: having abandoned it when her knee (her world) shattered on stage, Rin is dancing again. She's wearing an ecstatic grin. Her head is swimmy with the endorphins released when one performs a difficult skill well.
A grand jete over the last obstacle and she turns, finally noticing you, and waves.
