Ouch! Poor Danae. Though, like her, I would cheer at the no-more-gym thing, too. And that's interesting about Dr. Pepper. Who knew? Well, I knew, because I can't function without coffee. But I didn't know kids could benefit, too.
By all means, beam her up some caffeine. I am addicted to my Starbucks Nonfat Vanilla Latte so I understand that.
I would have broken my foot to get out of PE for the rest of the year. It was my least favorite thing in the whole world.
Perhaps we can have her just stand on her good foot while holding the other one up under her dress so she just looks like she has one leg instead of an awful black boot. That will not work but luckily we have Delenn to stick in front of her that will hide it.
I can understand the caffeine thing. It, like ritalin, is a stimulant which somehow makes the trivial things look less interesting and lets the person focus more on the task at hand. It's like it overwhelms the system so much the brain says "Whoa! Must focus! How about on the homework in front of me instead of the pretty flowers outside and the cute boy sitting next to me? Ok!"
How did she fracture her foot? Poor kiddo!
I made another shot of espresso for myself this morning and the headache I had all day yesterday (no shot) is finally gone. Uh oh....
