I decided to suck it up and go last night, and was very glad I did, as I saw lots of old friends that I hadn't seen for years. Even if I did end up with the bottom of my spine shooting white-hot spikes all the way up to my neck.

Feelin' fine now, though! "SAY YES TO DRUGS", that is my new motto.

So, a friend's father has passed away and we're at the store looking for sympathy cards. And Danae looks at a stack labeled "Religious Sympathy" and says, "Religious sympathy? Like, you send somebody a card that says 'I'm sorry that you're this religion'?"

OMG. House meets Amadeus.

This has been a very surreal night. I made Danae watch "Amadeus" with me, and then she wanted to see more Doctor Who, so I turned on "The Girl in the Fireplace",* and she immediately said, "Is this Amadeus again?" Which, no, but yes. And now this.
