I've been reading up on it all yesterday night. While I myself don't have much of an interest in those banned/suspended, I'm nonetheless enraged on principle. Yes of course LJ can do whatever it wants but what it's doing is targeting people (the fandom) that has nothing to do with incest or paedophilia beyond in maybe some of their writing. That's just plain unfair. Of course no one can make LJ retract anything, but hopefully enough pressure from fandom would make it realise that it's really just bad business sense to mess with them without good reason.

Whether you're for or against the whole issue, you might consider joining fandom_counts.

The bottom line I've reached is that LJ wants to make this a more happy place for advertisers and the like. They're targeting pornish incest communities because they don't fit into the community LJ wants to see itself as, so legality is not an issue at all here. (LJ's just hiding behind some legal mumbo jumbo, but I'm convinced it's just a smoke screen.) But if LJ goes too far and alienates fandom, they will leave.

aahh, looks like i'll have to get myself a copy of ffiv ds, even though i already bought ffiv advance. D: ffiv advance had such a lag problem during battle, though, that i never finished it. :/ i played the game and beat it before, just not the gba port of it.

mm.. i have mixed feelings about it all. on one hadn its yknow.. illegal for a reason, but then i also feel that there's too many things that are censored in this world. i dont know ;-;
