I'm hoping that the eight-week challenge will really make getting 10K steps a day *habit* for me. Goddess knows I need such a habit in my life!

Thanks! And thanks for your contribution to my habit-forming last Sunday. :-D

If I lived in a place such as you do, it would be much easier, though; this much is true. Also? PPPPUUUUUPPPPPPPPPYYYYY!

Yes, PPPUUUUUPPPPPYYYYY! She's gone off to training class today - with an extra class added in agility as well as obedience. I don't know who loves it most, Eska or BB.

It's been a lot easier than I expected to work the walks into my routine.

I've tried getting walks into a routine at different times over the last year or so. I can walk to my children's school in about 30 mins (it's not the nearest school to my house), but when I'm walking with them (even if they are using bikes or scooters) it's about an hour in the morning and longer in the afternoon. If I have just Matthew it's not too bad, but I'm always shouting to him to stop and wait for me to catch up. Amelia can cycle too, but unless we've walked / cycled there in the morning I ain't bringing the bike in the afternoon. Plus sprained ankle and other aches make things difficult as I actually want to be able to move around the house in the evening and the next day. I'm sure it would be easier if they walked faster, but how will the get the practise if they don't walk. Hmmm
