New projects, new craft

So I've started a new afghan and a new cardigan.

And I've started learning how to knit! It's HARD!!! I'm sure my fingers will get used to the new motions, but BOY did I feel inept.

On the new crochet projects......

Those are lovely.
Ah, knitting. I am terrible at it. But I'm told that practice is the key.

Practice is already showing, just with the bits I've done today. Things that felt totally stupid yesterday are starting to flow. I've even found what looks like a fairly simple jumper ('sweater' for you USians) I might try as my first project....after the ubiquitous scarf, of course!

Just don't hold your breath. I have much to learn before I even tackle the scarf, much less something bigger!
