How'd you do the word cloud? (And why, when I can look at other word clouds w/this browser and its set of applets, can I not click on this one and instead get a message telling me my browser can't recognize it? I can only see the little one. Inquiring minds want to know...)

When I click it (or anyone else's...I started from Kate Elliot's recent LJ post), I go to a dedicated page with my word cloud in a larger (more legible...lol!) version. From there, I clicked to the homepage:

http://www.wordle.net/

There I clicked on 'Create your own'. Copy-and-pasted the manuscript into the 'Paste in a bunch of text' box, then clicked Go. It then displays your word cloud and, at the bottom, a bit of code you can then paste into your own LJ. It looks like you have to choose your fonts and colours before you save.

Pasting the code into LJ was a bit fiddly. I don't know which format you usually work in, but for this to work, you have to be on the HTML tab. The direct paste didn't work on its own; I had to manually remove the return and extra spaces, but once I did that, it was fine. If you still have trouble, let me know and I'll send you more thorough instructions offlist.
