What kind of love is this

Anniversaries can be odd. I'd been dreading today for a long time. Ten years gone after nine years together. Not sure why but for the fact that now he's been gone longer than we were together. I miss his voice, and his eyes and how they looked at me. I miss his warmth, both of spirit and of body. Mostly I miss his love and understanding.

It does. I am still worried about covering the shortfall with his benefits in the long term, but I'm working on that side of things as well. I was terrified of moving him back home but didn't think I had a choice.

My mind keeps picturing him in tails and a top hat in his wheelchair entertaining all the residents. LOL For a man who doesn't like to talk/interact with folks much, his request floored me. I picked up two books today and can't wait to get them to him.
