That's... strange. I've only ever heard of people chained to each other, not to... something inanimate.

Wellll, technically, the TARDIS isn't an inanimate object. Not completely. It's sort of alive... sort of. She's a semi-sentient being. Anyone who's traveled in the TARDIS shares a bit of telepathic link with it. Gets in your head, translates any language you cannot understand. Also will speak to you telepathically, if you're special, I suppose would be the term.

Well, I can say that she's trying to cheer me up. She's doing quite the job of it. She might belong to my other self, but apparently, she really, really fancies me. like something else that supposedly belongs to him
