I'm in a funk.
I haven't had a good night of sleep in over two years.
Two years is a very long time.
My brain is rebelling against...well, itself.
My body is suffering as a casualty.
I feel like this will never end, and it may not.
I've tried everything.
I never feel rested.
I never feel quite as happy as I'd like to.
I can be happy, just, I never feel ( Read more... )

Rested, fulfilled...content.

Moreso then happiness-I can't say "Oh, you'll get there, don't worry" because I don't KNOW that...but I WILL give you advice that a friend gave me this summer: "Your spirit is too strong to allow the worst to happen..."

So, pretty much.....you sprirt, your very inner light has what you need...but maybe a Doctor or a Hypnotist could help you find what you need so you can finally get some sleep.

i can't give you much comfort in the not sleeping well area unfortunately. i haven't slept well most of my life. you can give up and learn to get what rest you can or learn to be ok with the endless road of doctors and possible remedies. the biggest thing i had to learn as far as managing my physical and mental health issues was how to take charge and talk to doctors. how to do my own research and how to ask questions. can't be afraid to go to someone else and say this is what i need, this is what i think, this is what i already know. if that person doesn't respond in a way that seems willing to work well with you then you can't be afraid to tell them you're sorry, you have to go somewhere else, or try something else. but you have loads of spunk so somehow i imagine you don't really need to be told that and i just wasted a lot of space... heh ( ... )

you're not in a funk you're in the past.... and you're dwelling. it's what we're best at. but seriously. there's nothing better you could do than to move forward somehow. i'm not saying I know how but.... uh... I don't actually know anythingl. but seriously, you cna't change what's happened, only how you feel about those events. I learned that last fall. very important to learn.
