They are! I don't remember the brand, but I've seen a couple of different brands in my grocery store, so there is some variety out there in the fully-cooked-chicken-sausage department.

Also, don't know if you saw this? (You probably did, but just in case . . .)

Sounds delish! And I've been making a point this year of eating Thanksgiving-y dishes whenever I want them--not just on The Day. So I think you could still have your cranberries *g* (Actually, my MIL decided that cranberry sauce was gross with meat, because it's too sweet, but she enjoyed it on her toast for a few days after our Thanksgiving dinner...)

That's a good point--it is a shame that certain foods get tagged as once-or-twice-a-year foods.

I've never heard of cranberry sauce on toast, but it makes sense; it *is* basically just cranberry jam!

Sounds good really. I was really lazy this year. The closest I came to cooking Thanksgiving dinner was looking up a recipi for Sweet Potato/Pecan pie for my co-worker.

Thanksgiving is just so much effort! It's one thing if you have a lot of people to share the cooking duties with, but for me it doesn't really make sense. Sometimes I might bake some chicken thighs or something, but this year I didn't even feel like doing that.

Still, I fed myself, and that is what counts. :)
