Like every day Yamapi casually stood outside of the store; he leant against a green metal bar at the street crossing for hours. He would simply look through the glass windows of the store and watch Tegoshi at work. Sometimes he read a book, the newspaper or emails on his laptop. The younger man already got used to it somehow, and could ignore his eyes on him for some hours, but it still felt too strange and bothersome, having the tall, raven haired businessman stare into the shop every day.

“Who won last night?” Yamapi asked when Tegoshi walked past him as he left the store.

Tegoshi stopped and slowly turned around to face Yamapi quickly, “What?” he asked automatically even though he had no intention to start a conversation in the first place.

“The game.” The raven haired man replied, “Did you enjoy it?”

“Oh it was yesterday?” Tegoshi answered sloppily before he turned around again, wanting to move on.

“You didn’t go then?” Yamapi sighed. He leant against a green metal bar that belonged to a fence by the road. Cars passed by; fast and wild and pedestrians tried to find their way around the two men standing in the middle of the always busy sidewalk.

“You neither, Apparently.” It wasn’t that much of a statement, more a question really.

“I didn’t feel like going,” The older man shoved his cell phone into his pocket, “but I hoped you’d enjoy it,” Yamapi shook his head in disappointment, “too bad really. It was a good seat.”

The blonde looked at him surprised; he could have sworn Yamapi would be waiting there at the stadium for him. But now…It’s really a shame he didn’t go after all.

“Well, there is still something I want you to see, so please…“ Yamapi tried to convince the younger to come with him but like always Tegoshi snapped back at him in the same unfriendly manner that hurt Yamapi majorly.

“Stop it; I don’t want to see anything…” Tegoshi crossed his arms over his pink and silver track suit jacket and glared at the raven haired business man. “Just get out of my life again. Go back to your work or whatever it is that you did before hanging around here like some old disgusting pervert! I’m sick of seeing you out here and seriously if you don’t have anything better to do you should be ashamed of yourself!”

His words hit the tall man right into his heart. Yamapi waited for the younger to disappear like he always does but to his surprise Tegoshi just stood there, glaring at him.

What is he waiting for? He wondered. An answer? A real answer?

“I…I…need you to see some place. I want you to remember some things and talk to me about it.” Yamapi said and watched the younger wrinkle his nose in disgust.

“That’s not a reason to be living on the street! What happened to your job?” the blonde asked, sounding almost concerned. “If you think you can impress me being a hobo then you’re wrong! You can’t really believe that I’d fall for you when you are like that…Go back, ok? Just go back.”

Tegoshi sighed and shook his head before he finally turned around and left. He was surprised that he said what he did but seeing Yamapi on the street every day like this, wasting time and bothering him made Tegoshi not only very angry because he had to see him every time he passed by, but also angry because he knew he shouldn’t be doing this. Tegoshi didn’t like to think the older man let himself go like that.

Yamapi watched Tegoshi leave without exchanging another word. He knew whatever he would have said the blonde wouldn’t have turned around again. Tegoshi had said enough.

He realized that he had really started something stupid and he should have known that Tegoshi would have been the least person on earth who would think he would be awesome doing these crazy things. Of course Yamapi somehow knew all along that these things he had done in the past weeks, every single attempt of getting the younger man’s attention would fail and definitely leave Tegoshi wondering if he’d be out of his mind.

Yet Yamapi at least had to give it a shot, because sometimes even the crazy work would lead to something, and he didn’t really have anything left to lose.

-----

This morning, just like any other day, Tegoshi strolled into his Starbucks down the main road. With a smile on his lips he looked forward to order his usual morning coffee, but what he didn't know was that he would find a big surprise waiting for him behind the counter this time.

"The usual ple--- ;;;; "

The words spilled from his lips in a morning routine but suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence. The young salesman blinked once, twice and to his disappointment the face he saw didn't disappear, and instead grinned back at him.

"Good morning Yuya! What can I get u today??" The slightly older man asked with a wide smile never leaving his lips.

Tegoshi's former excited expression faded quickly. "What in the world are you doing here??" He asked furiously, deciding that this was the top of the iceberg....

Never had he thought that his only 'Yamapi free zone' would once become a 'Yamapi ruled zone'. The taller man grinning at him from behind the holy coffee counter at Starbucks was simply a nightmare!

"I am serving you coffee duh..!" The newly found Starbucks employee replied boldly. "Now it's your turn to decide on what you want me to give you. I would have thought you were already familiar with that concept." Yamapi winked at the speechless man in front of him.

"I..I Don’t want anything from you! And by the way, I don't need to decide because I always have the same!" The blonde snapped back, and once he turned around he was glad that it was quiet this morning, they weren't annoying any other costumers with their quarrel. The other employee seemed also glad that they weren't attracting any attention; she would not want to see Yamapi to be in trouble on his first day.

"Ok, good!" The taller man smiled. "What is it that you like? There isn't anything I can't get you." He winked back at Tegoshi and showed him a fold out menu card, which he didn’t know the blonde already knew inside out. Tegoshi could order anything in his sleep.

The young salesman sighed, he looked around the room once more and when his eyes met the slightly older women's glare he guessed he'd better give in and just order.

"A double espresso."

Yamapi smiled. "Got it!"

"Make it two." The blonde added quickly.

"That's a double double then!?" It was more a statement than a question.

Tegoshi raised his eyebrow. "Yes, two double espresso. One for here and one to go."

He had decided on a second just in case one wasn't enough to wake him up from this nightmare, and like usually he stayed and enjoyed his morning coffee inside, rather than taking it to go. Well, today he’d take the second to go.

Until now he hadn't really made any friends at work, which didn't actually bother him that much though. Tegoshi couldn't see anything good coming from being friends with a goofy old guy that always found an excuse to sneak away earlier and leave Tegoshi with extra work. He also couldn't see him spend time chatting with one of the female staff because, really they were just a bitchy bunch of gossipers and that had never been of his interest. Also Tegoshi couldn't find time to be friendly with that crazy baseball fanatic who never changed his clothes, apparently he didn't need to. That's what he said once the rumor spread....

Basically hanging with any of his co-workers would be a complete waste of time.
Sipping on his espresso he pondered about people he avoided and people that seemed to avoid him. All the while he felt the taller man's eyes on him from behind the counter. Of course he'd be looking at him, wasn't that his plan? Tegoshi sighed, and slowly got up and left for work.

Today whilst stocking the shelves of their basketball department Tegoshi kept thinking about this morning and wondered how his life would change once again. He knew that even that small fact of Yamapi being there now would make e big difference. He accidentally dropped a box of balls and had to bend down to receive the fallen items.

"Kuso, why can't he just disappear..." He cursed frustrated.

'Do I really need to avoid him? Maybe confronting him will make the difference?' The young salesman sighed as he placed the newly arrived balls onto the shelves. 'It's not like he owns me...'

Despite all options lay open for Tegoshi, he went back to the same Starbucks this night to get his 'after-work' coffee. He could have gone to any other Starbucks or coffee shop if he wanted, but somehow he was drawn back to his Starbucks. All the pondering about where to get his coffee from now on and the wondering of how to deal with this situation turned out to be a waste of time in the end.

"Another espresso, a double I mean?" Yamapi asked with a relieved smile as he welcomed the young salesman for the second time today.

Of course it had to be him....

"Green tea frappuccino." Tegoshi sighed. "With chocolate sauce.....please."

"Oh." The taller man replied short on words, the lost look on his face only deepened his surprise.

"Espresso's are only to start a day." Tegoshi pointed out. Why am I telling him this? He thought and without realizing more words spilled from his lips. "After work I prefer something more, diversified."

Yamapi gasped and stared at the blonde man as he actually talked to him. It took him a moment or two to realize he wasn’t dreaming and Tegoshi was really not saying anything mean and hurtful this time. The taller man smiled and turned around to fix the other's drink.

The young salesman left with his green beverage in hand. This had been too much already; he couldn't possibly take more today. He thought that over the years Yamapi would had change, stopping being so damn persistent and he thought the Yamapi effect would stop affecting him.

[Flashback]

“No Pi I said I don’t want it!” Tegoshi shouted for the thousandth time that day, it had become already night and Yamapi stayed over at his place whilst Tegoshi’s parents were traveling the entire weekend.

“Why not Yu-chan!?” Yamapi whined like he had been since the first time Tegoshi said no to him today.

“Because I think it’s something really silly and I don’t want to wear it!” Tegoshi said still not looking at his boyfriend who crouched next to the bed looking like a lost puppy, he knew if he looked at him he could let him start convincing him.

“But you’re my boyfriend I want to give you a promise ring Yuya.” Yamapi whined.

“And I, as your boyfriend, don’t want one. Just accept it already. That‘s what boyfriend‘s do.” Tegoshi said finally turning and glaring at his boyfriend.

“Why? You don’t love me, is that why you don’t want it?” Yamapi asked sounding really hurt.

“Don’t say that! You know I love you more than anything Pi.” Tegoshi said moving from the bed to sit next to his hurtful looking boyfriend.

“The why don’t you want the ring? You got so angry at me when I tried to take you to the store today…” Yamapi said looking down to his hand over his lap. “I was so excited to make you the surprise in getting the rigs for us…”

“Pi I love you today and always and you know that, but I don’t think we need a promise ring. We don’t.”

“But… it would be a symbol of our love, the promise that we will be together.”

“I don’t think we need a symbol. Symbols are there to show everyone else; don’t we just need to know our feeling for each other Pi? That should be enough.”

“But I hate seeing people throwing themselves over you at school! Especially now that I’m not around anymore, I want them to know you’re mine!”

“Pi you know they can’t know I’m yours, our relationship is a secret remember?” Tegoshi said with a sweet smile poking Yamapi’s nose.

“I know but still I just want to fucking kill those guys that keep walking around you every time I go pick you up at school.” Yamapi said with an angered expression like he was seeing the said guys right in front of him “And don’t deny I heard some of them calling you to go out after the classes had ended.”

“And you know I had said no to all of them.” Tegoshi said lifting his eyebrow. “Isn’t it enough that I know I’m yours?”

“It was fine at first but now I am just so fucking jealous Yuya. You know I am not around much anymore and everyone else start to spend more time with you. It breaks my heart to think they even fucking dare to think they got a chance with you! I don’t know what I will do the next time I see one of them close to you…” Yamapi said hitting his thigh harshly.

“Hey hey calm down k?” Tegoshi said cupping Yamapi’s cheeks “Don’t you think I got jealous too? When I went to your campus that time and saw all those girls all over you? But I didn’t go slapping the bitches away did I?”

“No …” Yamapi say clucking “But I would like to see that … you shouting that one is mine, bitch!”

“So you can take your fucking hands of!” Tegoshi said joking with his boyfriend making him laugh for real.

“Yeah something like that…” Yamapi said when he stopped laughing.

“But you know I won’t do it right?” Tegoshi asked and waited until Yamapi nodded. “I won’t do it because I know that we need to wait and keep our love a secret, until we’re old enough to have got out of our parents houses.”

“I know… sorry I was being childish… but I really wanted to give you something Yu-chan even if you don’t let anyone see it…” Yamapi said holding Tegoshi hands “I will feel better if you always carry with you something that means my love to you…”

“Mouu Pi wont you ever give up?” Tegoshi said trying to sound annoyed but Yamapi can see he’s just trying to hold a smile.

“This time I won’t… please Yu-chan you will make me so happy.” Yamapi said pouting and trying to make those lost puppy eyes Tegoshi always does when he wants something.

“Ok stop pouting Pi I told you it doesn’t look good on you!” Tegoshi shouts while chuckling at his boyfriend trying to look cute, but failing badly.

“That means you will use if I give you something?” Yamapi asked his eyes shinnying.

“Yeah ok… I will… but I won’t show anyone, or want anything fancy do you hear me?” Tegoshi said smiling when seeing the big smile forming in his boyfriend face.

“Yes! Yes Yu-chan!” Yamapi said with a happy shout before almost jumping over his boyfriend and hugging him tightly.

“Pi let me breath baka!” Tegoshi shouted but returned the hug.

“Thank you Yu…” Yamapi whispered against his ear. “You don’t know how happy you made me just now…”

“I love you Pi, it is my job to make you happy, just like you make me.” Tegoshi whispers back kissing Yamapi check sweetly while enjoying his boyfriend hugging him and whispering ‘I love you’ over and over against his ear while placing sweet kisses.

[FLASHBACK END]

Tegoshi was just putting his walled over his table when he stopped halfway and pulling it back closer and opening it. His fingers easily fining the hidden pocked from where he pulled a small silver chain with a small silver key. He looked at the shinnying necklace remembering how he used it before under his shirt every day since the day Yamapi had give it to him, saying that was the key to his heart and only Tegoshi could have it.

Tegoshi didn’t know why he had kept this after all these years, after all this time hating Yamapi and wanting to forget him, but somehow he never had the courage to throw it away. Tegoshi hissed and shocked his head before hiding the said item once more, putting the wallet over his table and walking to his bathroom, wishing a hot shower would make him stop thinking.

-------

The next time he ordered a double espresso he managed to be served by a tall lady instead. The young man made a victory dance inside and even could avoid further eye contact or talk with Yamapi. Maybe things weren't as bad as he had feared.

At night though he was welcomed once again by the grinning face of the man he tried to avoid.

Kuso...

"Otsukare sama! Yuya!!" The taller man behind the counter smiled shamelessly.

"Hmpft." Tegoshi rolled his eyes and pointed at the menu. Their eyes met once more and low spoken words left the younger’s lips. "O-Otsukare…’

The older man’s smile grew wider. "Want to try the new orange mint frappuccino? It's pretty yummy and just made it onto the menu today."

"No thanks." Tegoshi turned around to see the large promotion poster. It looked...interesting, he had to admit.

"Oh come on! You'll like it. I'll give you extra chocolate sauce!" Yamapi winked at the blonde who just glared at him as he shoved his hands into his black hoodie.

"Why are you even working here?" Tegoshi suddenly asked. This had bothered him for a while already, because Yamapi neither liked coffee nor was he interested in sales or cleaning tables.

"What?" The older man was clearly taken by surprise. Tegoshi tried again, fully ignoring that there were other customers already lining up behind him. "Why are you here? What's all this about?" The younger quickly lost himself in his speech, "First the ridiculous camping outside my store, then you continue stalking me here... Can't you just go back to your normal job? Even though you are just ass sucking in your father's company, but that's what you do best. That's where you belong to, not here and not with me!"

Yamapi's hands slightly began to tremble. "Um, no orange mint frappuccino then…I guess..." He had no idea how to reply because now all eyes were on him, 22 to be precise and he wasn’t planning on losing his new job because of an argument with a costumer.

"No!" The younger shouted. "I want one... with chocolate sauce." He looked around the store, finally aware of the ruckus he made. "But you till SUCK at customer service nonetheless!!!!" He added still furious inside.

The young blonde took his cold beverage, placed a black baseball cap on his head and left the store, angry and desperate for a fight.

-----

Tegoshi felt relieved that he made it in and out of Starbucks today without running into Yamapi. Not being confronted with the older man didn’t stop certain things from bugging him though. He remembered that Yamapi apparently still had something to show him, which left him hanging curious.

What does he think is that important to me that I’d need to see it? Gah, this is driving me nuts! A row of sighs left the blonde’s lips. He just sat there on a small round table by the window. He watched the pedestrians pass by, wondering what their life’s would be about. Who would they go to see? Who would they be thinking about? And why are they here today? What for?

The small note on his locker came back to his mind every now and then and he bet that Yamapi knew it would make him go insane with curiosity. Every day Tegoshi fought the urge to ask what he thought was so important to drag him to.

-----

Yamapi was just getting some extra cups to refill in the front when he heard a hyper a well know voice coming to the other side of the counter “Come here get my order big brother Pi!”

“Aish... Rina what are you doing here?” Yamapi asks with a loud and annoyed sigh, when turning to his sister.

“What can't I get a cup of coffee when I want to?” Rina asks with a sweet innocent smile.

“Yeah you can but you could do so just outside of your house...” Yamapi said frowning at his sister.

“I was walking around here...” She said while looking around the almost empty shop.

“Really you were just passing by here in the other side of the city? Exactly in front of the shop I work?” Yamapi said lifting an eyebrow.

“Stop being so annoying will you, I wanted to see you ok? Happy now?”

“No... You’re still here.” Yamapi said turning to get a menu and shove it to his sister. “There you saw me, chose your drink and you can go.”

“Is that how they trained you to treat your costumers?”

“Just the annoying ones...” Yamapi said with a grin.

“I can't believe you're this annoying Pi! You were way more fun when we were younger, Tegoshi-kun would totally agree with me.” Rina said pouting cutely.

“No he wouldn’t.” Yamapi said ignoring his sister’s pout. “Now say your order and leave me alone, I’m working.”

“Fine I want espresso and a brownie.”

“Thank you for your order, please step aside and my colleague will give you your order in instants. Please don’t come back again.”

“Aish… and I will come back if I WANT to.” She said before getting her tip and walking away. “And mom want you back home this weekend, she wants you to meet someone.”

“Yeah of course she wants…” Yamapi murmured before putting a professional smile to great his next costumer.

-----

Just like any other day this past two week Tegoshi sat on a round table for two, somewhere by the window and sipped at his cold beverage. It was past his working hour and once more he had ordered a green tea frappuccino, with extra chocolate sauce.

Yamapi who he hadn't exchanged any other words than his orders also ghosted around the store, wiping dirty tables and taking away used dishes the leaving customers handed him. Tonight, not like any other day, pretty much out of the blue, the taller man took a seat across Tegoshi.

The young salesman lifted his gaze, moved it from his beverage up to meet Yamapi's look. He shamelessly sat down at the very same table, starting a conversation. Pretty much because he couldn't handle it longer to see the prettiest man on earth ignoring him completely, but mostly sitting there all alone every night with only a cold drink to keep him company.

"Otsukare sama…” he said casually, “how was your day?”

Tegoshi mustered the older man's green apron, "good." He almost whispered as he looked back up and their eyes met.

Yamapi smiled. He squeezed the blue cloth he used to clean. After a moment of silence he added, "Now you should ask me in return!"

"Why would I do that?" The younger replied cold.

"Small talk. You should remember how it works." Yamapi said teasingly.

"I know how to do small talk, but I don't see why I should talk to you." Tegoshi sighed and played with a brown paper napkin on the table.

Yamapi smirked, "We are already having a conversation, see it's not that hard."

Tegoshi shook his head helplessly. "It's no use..." He muttered.

The older man watched Tegoshi as he took a drink and then played with a book that sat before him. He hadn't noticed earlier that the younger had been reading. It was a small black hard cover book with a crow printed on the front. He couldn't read the title because Tegoshi's hand covered most of the kanji.

"Nee," he began, suddenly remembering certain things of their past. "Do you remember how we always came here after school??"

Tegoshi's eyes widened and he thought for a moment. Of course he remembered.

"No I don't."

"Come on Yuya! How can you forget?? We always had a seat by the window too, now that I think about it." Yamapi encouraged the other to remember as he spoke enthusiastically.

“No, we didn’t.” Tegoshi shoved his book into a small white messenger back as he decided it was time to leave.

“Of course! How can you not remember Yuya?” The raven haired man gave him a saddened look.

"We never came here!" Tegoshi protested.

"Yes of course we did! We came to study."

"No, you did. I never studied when we were here." Tegoshi sighed. He just had to say it, he didn't know why but it felt as if he was going to explode if he didn't.

"You do remember!!!" The raven haired man shouted in excitement.

"Of course, idiot." The younger snapped back.

Yamapi grinned, happy that the other remembered something he always thought about. "You always had your manga with you, didn't you? Are you still reading them?"

"What do you think I am? 12? A crazy old manga freak?" Tegoshi shook his head.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.... You just always seemed so into them." Yamapi apologized. "To be honest I never really got what you showed or told me about them, but I loved how much you seemed to like it and how your face would glow when you looked at me. With your manga in hands."

"I never even read them....." Tegoshi admitted. "Maybe that's why...." The younger lowered his head, vivid images of his school days came back and quickly filled his mind. Pictures of Yamapi in his school uniform. How he studied in front of him or rode his bike down the street, and how he’d try to play soccer with Tegoshi but always messed it up badly.

"But, how come.... And why were you,... What were you doing? The pictures? Did you like the pictures?" Yamapi stumbled, pretty surprised at the others confession.

"What?" Tegoshi looked at him confused. "No, .. Just forget it. Whatever."

He couldn't get himself to say that at that time there was better things to look at than the manga. Back then, with Yamapi there he had no interest in reading or couldn't concentrate on studying. And right now, here and there, why did he have to look at him like this? The older man’s dark eyes shone so bright, his raven hair fell sweetly into his face that it made Tegoshi’s heart jump. Why oh why? The young man bit his lip and wished he could disappear. Yamapi’s gaze on him felt so heavy and his features looked more beautiful than normal.

"But,… we never came here." The blonde added low voiced and looked away, escaping the other’s intense eyes.

"No? I'm pretty sure we did." Yamapi countered convinced. "This has to be the very same coffee shop!"

"No we didn't!" Tegoshi snapped back, positive it must have been a different place. He would have noticed before wouldn't he?

"Oh I'm pretty sure it's the same!"

"No it isn't"

"It has to!!!"

Quickly they began to argue about who was right and who wasn't until Tegoshi suddenly lost his voice in a storm of bitter tears. He broke down faster than Yamapi could react.

The older man jumped off his seat and threw his arms around the shaking younger. "Yuya." He spoke calm, completely taken by surprise. "It's ok. Please stop crying."

But Tegoshi's grievous tears only increased and his heavy breathing quickened.

"Yuya." Yamapi said worried. He tried to hold the younger in his embrace but Tegoshi freed himself and stormed out of the shop. Yamapi ran after him and managed to get hold of the other's arm.

He pulled the blonde in but before he could say a thing, Tegoshi screamed and kicked the elder's shin.
"Leave me alone for once! Just leave me alone!"

Yamapi watched him disappear into a crowd of people, deciding heavy hearted that he better let him go. He could not afford to lose his job after two weeks and he was afraid he would not be able to help Tegoshi in the end anyways. The blondes sudden mood changed and actions left Yamapi speechless. Nevertheless it was unnecessary to mention how worried he was about the younger man.

After aimlessly roaming the filled streets of Shibuya, Tegoshi found himself at a bus stop near Harajuku. As he reached into his jeans' pocket for his cell phone it began to rain. Small drips of water hit the ground, creating a bitter sweet melody.

"Yuya!" A familiar voice greeted him on the other line.

"Hi there." The blonde replied; a weak smile formed on his lips at the sweet voice of the other man. "I was thinking we could erm, hang out tomorrow or so." Tegoshi asked, wishing he could see him right now instead because Jiyong always made him feel better just by being there. "I mean only if you have time." He added quickly. "But its weekend and I thought we haven't hung out in a while...."

"Sure!" Jiyong replied cheerfully. "I am always free for you silly."

Tegoshi finally smiled fully. "Want to meet in Shibuya?"

"Yeah sure. How about now? Are you up for something spontaneous?" The younger asked with a grin, eager to see Tegoshi again.

"Now? As in right now?” Tegoshi raised his voice unintended, “Well, as a matter of fact I am in Shibuya now -"

"Great!" Jiyong shouted in excitement.

"But I am not feeling very well....I finished work a bit ago...now it’s even raining. It’s been just a bad day, really." Tegoshi sighed. So badly he wanted to meet him this moment, just to see his sweet eyes, his pretty smile and feel his touch.... although he’d feel bad if he would, because he remembered what happened a while ago at the coffee shop and he didn’t like to think he needed Jiyong to cheer him up. He didn’t like to think he only needed him then, in those times... It wasn't quite like that. Tegoshi didn’t like to think he needed him in general, but somehow seemed to have been like it the last times.

God, he had really turned into a stupid prick.

"Well, why not? Yuya. I think it would do you good if we go somewhere." The younger smiled into the phone pressed to his face. "I"ll jump in a car now, tell me where you are!!!"

"Ji... Wait."

Argh. Damnit. Tegoshi gave in and told the other where to find him. Twelve minutes later a yellow/green taxi stopped before him and the door opened. Tegoshi walked up to the temporarily parked car and saw Jiyong waving at him from the backseat.

The orange head yelled from inside. "Want to jump in or should we get going from here?"
Tegoshi thought for a moment. "Let's drive home."

A little surprised but not displeased, Jiyong nodded and made space for the blonde as he slid inside. The younger man's smile dazzled Tegoshi and he had to smile back at him as he leant in to whisper into the other's ear.

"Thank you."

Jiyong winked at him. His hand found the blonde's knee and caressed it loving.

Jiyong’s eyes lay heavy on him but he liked it. He liked the way his heartbeat rose and his fingers twitched around his seat belt, twitched and tingled with need, the unbelievable need to touch the attractive man beside him. Tegoshi noticed how he stared right back at him, a smirk on his lips.
The red head leant in and met Tegoshi half way, whispering against the other's flushed face. "Would love to..."

Jiyong paused and Tegoshi finished his sentence. "...kiss you."

“Do it.” Jiyong demanded with a smirk, leaning in closer.

“We’re.. not alone.” The blonde breathed hesitantly as he moved his head to the side and closer forward until he felt Jiyong’s warm breath tickle his lips.

Trembling slightly Jiyong wetted his lips with the tip of his tongue. “He won’t even notice..” he whispered, referring to the taxi driver, as he waited for the older to make the final move. His breath hitched slightly as Tegoshi’s lips parted and he noticed the older man closed his eyes. The redhead squeezed Tegoshi’s thigh when he felt the blonde brush his mouth over his and impatiently deepened the kiss.

Gently caressing Jiyong’s lips with his the blonde whispered against the other’s mouth, “Let’s get out here.”

Jiyong nibbled at Tegoshi’s lip before replying absentmindedly, “here? Thought you… wanted to ..” The older man swallowed the rest of his words with a kiss before he carefully pulled away. Tegoshi looked out through the windshield and asked the taxi driver to please stop here.
The blonde pulled Jiyong out of the car and along the road. The taller man linked his fingers with his and allowed Tegoshi to lead the way.

“Want to walk a bit, you don’t mind do you?” Tegoshi looked over his shoulder and smiled. Jiyong didn’t mind; anything they’d do was good enough for him, and being lead down a less crowded street by the blonde wasn’t all that bad. He enjoyed being held by his hand and receiving sweet smiles from the other man was more than he could have wished for, and not to mention the rain had stopped the moment they stepped out of the taxi.

They passed by a few conbini and gas stations, a park and a fire station as they walked toward Tegoshi’s apartment. Still guiding the younger man Tegoshi broke the silence, “What do you think about relationships?”

“Relationships?” the redhead asked in surprise. The older man nodded as they continued to stroll down a hill.

“Hm I don’t know.” Jiyong wondered what sort of conversation the other seeked and what he should reply. To be honest he hadn’t given the topic relationships much thought over the past couple years. It wasn’t easy to be in a successful relationship as he remembered from his schooldays and to think of now, how he’d only want to be in a relationship with a guy wasn’t anything simple at all.

“I think..” he started hesitantly.

“…they suck.” Tegoshi then finished his sentence coldly.

When he turned around Jiyong shot him a look that said ‘you are unbelievable’, and Tegoshi read it with ease.

“I mean, they are difficult, right? they are a complete waste of time too and really, I don’t get why people nowadays make such a fuss about being in one.” The blonde replied rationally.

He kept his gaze on Jiyong as the redhead mumbled a low and ashamed, “Mhm..”. They continued to walk, fingers still intertwined.

“Hm..you are not in a relationship are you?” Tegoshi then asked, wondering if he had pulled some unexpected trigger and unsure why he suddenly felt like he wanted to know. They never talked about it before and it shouldn’t have been of interest in the first place since Tegoshi didn’t want to know more about the other man. Or so he told himself.

Jiyong’s eyes snapped open in even deeper surprise. “No!” he almost yelled at the top of his lunges, scaring the blonde slightly. The younger wondered what had gotten into Tegoshi since personal stuffs usually were off limits. Jiyong though knew about Tegoshi’s hatred for relationships and love and all that, but sometimes he thought that whatever it was they had could count as some sort of relationship too, or didn’t it? Well he wouldn’t be the one to confront Tegoshi about it, just to be on the safe side.

“You never mention anyone, so I figured you weren’t that kind of person anyways…” The blonde countered casually.

“Who -who should I mention?” Jiyong stopped for a second before he let Tegoshi pull him along once again.

“I dunno.” The blonde shrugged. “someone you like, someone you …I dunno.”

Idiot. Jiyong thought. I told YOU that I liked you, did you already forget?
Hmpft.

Jiyong shook his head in annoyance. “Whatever.”

Tegoshi agreed. Maybe he shouldn’t have started such conversation. Yeah probably it was a stupid idea and really, he had no idea why he did. He just felt like it.

Felt like it? Really I must be losing it, Tegoshi thought.

He then suddenly stopped walking and Jiyong bumped into his side as the younger didn’t notice he halted. The blonde looked over his shoulder and smiled at Jiyong, “Ramen?” he asked and pointed at a yellow sign in front of him, reading in black kanji ‘Azabu Ramen’.

Jiyong felt a little taken by surprise and wondered how the other’s actions always came unexpected, but he nodded and smiled in return.

They entered the small ramen shop and took seat behind the counter. A tall man with semi long raven hair served the two customers water, ramen and onigiri.

“Do you mind handing me the Tabasco please?” Tegoshi asked kindly. The redhead who sat next to him nodded and tipped the small bottle of red spice over Tegoshi’s bowl of ramen.

“Careful!” the blonde told him. Jiyong was careful, always. The younger smirked and shook the Tabasco a little more to make sure he’d spice up the other’s dish just enough.

“Thanks.” Tegoshi then dug his hashi into the large bowl of noodles. “I could have done it myself though.” He added slightly embarrassed that the other treated him like he couldn’t have put Tabasco on his dish by himself.

“I know,” Jiyong grinned. “Just shut up, be happy and eat.”

A word and a blow.

“What’s this?” Tegoshi asked curiously, poking a small round in seaweed covered ball with his hashi. It looked like mentaiko onigiri and the blonde could have sworn it was mentaiko onigiri, his favorite. It defiantly smelled like mentaiko onigiri. He hadn’t realized Jiyong had ordered them.

“Onigiri!?” Jiyong laughed.

“duh.” The blonde poked it again. “mentaiko?” he asked hopefully.

“Un.” the redhead nodded and picked a mouth sized rice ball with his own hashi, bringing it to the other man’s lips. “douzo.”

Jiyong knew how Tegoshi liked them and had only waited for an opportunity to feed him with the small rice balls.

“MHM!!!” Tegoshi sighed after he swallowed the last onigiri. “So delicious.”

Jiyong smiled. The blonde then suddenly asked, “You wanna try their gyouza?” he scratched the back of his head and added “Since I ate all your onigiri….”

Jiyong laughed, finding it most adorable how strangely cute Tegoshi could be whenever he just let himself be himself for a change. The redhead nodded excited, “Sure! gyouza sounds great and don’t worry about the onigiri, I only ordered them for you anyways.”

“You did?” The blonde raised an eyebrow and watched Jiyong just nod in response, but decided not to say more than that.

Soon they unconsciously exchanged sweet smiles and hot looks and their eating turned into something more than innocent dinner. They fed each other seductively with gyouza and more of those tiny onigiri. Jiyong even began to play with a cup of water involving his tongue and wet sounds. As soon as they finished most of their meals the two men eagerly left the ramen shop.

Once out the door Tegoshi grabbed the other’s hand and roughly pulled him into a small street; narrow, empty and dark to be precise. The blonde gasped when Jiyong suddenly pulled him by his jacked and threw him against the wall of a building. The redhead impatiently crushed their mouths together as he had Tegoshi pinned against the cold stone effectively.

Tegoshi groaned at his double espresso that morning, the lack of sleep made him feel overly grumpy so early, but he didn’t try to hide the grin that came to his lips whenever he recalled last night. The redhead’s moaning face came to his mind and reminded him of the many reasons why he has missed out on a good night’s sleep. After a while he started playing with his empty cup while looking at the street through the large shop window, he jerked slightly when he heard a feminine voice behind him.

“Yeah I was looking for that handsome, tall guy that goes by the name Yamashita-san…”

Tegoshi turned around and watched as a quite tall and very pretty girl with long dark hair stood at the counter and talked to one of the shop assistants. Against his will he felt the anger rising inside of him, thinking about Yamapi and how he had such a pretty girl after him, why did he have to keep bugging him like the whole world was against him? It didn’t make any sense, and Tegoshi knew that Yamapi could have anyone at any time.

It only upset him though, because he should have known all along Yamapi was obviously lying whenever he said he wanted him back. Only him. Why would he want him if he had pretty girls like that in his life?

Jerk.

“Oh, I’m sorry darling. Today is Yamashita-kun’s day off…” A rather old and unhealthy guy with unpleasant hair replied to her from behind the cashier. “Anything else you would want?”

“Mh, maybe I’ll have that piece of cake then…” The tall girl said before turning around with a low sigh. Something Tegoshi didn’t expect was that the girl’s face looked so damn familiar. When she finally turned around the shock hit him and the moment he looked in those big round eyes as they met his he knew she must had known him somehow.

“T…Tegoshi-kun? Is it really you?” The girl suddenly asked wearing an extremely shocked expression as she pointed her index finger at the young man who sat just a few tables away from her.

“Fuck.”

The word slipped from Tegoshi’s lips without thinking as he realized his past would probably never leave him alone, will it?
