Today was the day. The lady we’ve all been waiting for has made her debut.

Zara Elyse was born today at 2:29 PM. She came into the word crying and pooping, showing that both ends were functioning properly. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/4″ in length. ( Read more... )

Our potential birth mom is one centimeter dilated. That was the message I got on my blackberry when my plane stopped in Denver for a refueling stop on the way to San Francisco.
