A day late--I'd blame the holiday, but in truth I just got confused and thought it was a day earlier than it actually was. My bad.

Longish chapter this time around! I don't like it quite as much as I liked chapter nine, but chapter ten does what's needed, more or less. And by 'does what's needed' I apparently mean 'runs around in introspective little circles'.

All along I've been laughing to myself that Cuckoo's Egg might wind up being almost as long as The Morning Star, despite one being a 'story' and the other being a 'novel'. Turns out the joke is on me: complete, The Morning Star is 353kb of text, and Cuckoo's Egg is already sitting at 478kb, only three-quarters done ( Read more... )
