Logan was headed out just as Martini approached the main building. His little hands clenched to fists, and it took a hell of a lot of effort to keep the claws in.
A day. He decided to give Martini one more day. After that, it would be fix things, or lose his intestines.

"Ohhhh Looogaaaan," he sang out, "Guess what?"

"You found yet another way to fuck up everyone's lives?"

"Well, I was going to say I can finally change you back now, but if you're going to act like a demanding little prick, I guess I'll rescind the offer and be on my merry way." He turned as if to walk away, unable to hide a smug grin.

She didn't like this strange balance and personal acknowledgement. She wanted the blissful ignorance of her own emotions, her own desires. Other peoples were easier to deal with.
When she saw him, that smug little look on his face, she waltzed over with her usual dance like grace, her arms weaving around his neck and pulling him to a stop. "Why so happy?"

He briefly wondered what his emotions felt like to Ophelia, with all the giddiness and joy inside his head right now. "I've got my powers back under control!"

"Really? Well that's nice," and she was only being polite by not demanding herself to be changed back immediately. Wade had asked her before if she missed her insanity, and she'd down played it something terrible.
She missed it more than words could say, even her insane, rhyming, rambling words wouldn't cover it. "It's just as well in some cases, the energiser bunny does eventually run out of steam you know." And she hoped Martini would get her point.

He knew how much she missed being her normal self, and truth be told he missed it as well. Insanity was a lonely road to travel, and having company made it just a little easier.
"Let's skip the rest of the chocolate cookie pleasantries, and get right to the good center part of the Oreo. Want to be changed back right this instant?"

He spied someone approaching him that he did not recognize. Focusing for a moment, he saw the man as he had once been, and then how he would look later. Looks like putting up with being an old man had left him something good after all. It was Tristan. He stopped bouncing like a lunatic for a moment. "What's up?"
Reply
*Tristan fidgeted. He wasn't sure how well Martini would take his question and it made him nervous.*
Actually, I have a question... *he waved to himself*... about this.

"If you want to know when I can change you back, the answer is right now, if you'd like."

There were some aspects of being six years old again that had been fun. She had dearly missed her swim fins. Before she went looking for him, she went back to her room and changed her clothes. Holding her clothes up so she could walk, she went looking for him. It didn't take her long to find him.
"Hi, Martini. Would you please?" she asked.

"You're ahead of the game. One speedy time manipulation, coming right up." He laid a hand on her shoulder, and sped the time forward around Jesse until she had reached the proper age of twenty-nine again. "You may feel a little disoriented afterwards, and I suggest lying down until the room stops spinning."

"Whoa," she said as he laid his hand on her shoulder. It was over almost before she could blink. The time-shift made her quite dizzy. She grabbed his arm to steady herself and then slid her arms around his neck in a clumsy hug. "Thanks, Martini." She kissed him on the cheek, still giggling. "Thanks for the trip too. I think I'll take your advice and go lay down. It is really good to be back in clothes that fit."
Jessie let go of him and swayed, she put one hand on the nearby wall and slid along it heading for the rec room.

Martini was thankful Jesse was too dizzy to notice him blushing bright crimson after she hugged and kissed him. He touched the spot on his cheek, a little embarrassed. What was he, a knight in shining armor? "Don Quixote, maybe," he mutterd to himself as he walked off in search of the rest of his affected teammates. "Just charging at windmills."

She felt vulnerable again. She didn't like that at all.
And so, she'd avoided everything. Until her body once more demanded food, and she had to venture out to get it.

Martini's unfocused eyes came back to the present as he looked at the figure before him. "Yuriko?" he asked in amazement. She looked different, not only in her figure but in the general aura she was projecting. She was always so poised, icy in demeanor, and so sure of herself. Right now, she looked small, and the confident sureness was gone. She seemed.....human.

"Yes," her head inclined in that same way, the way she knew identified her but never bothered to change. It was her mannerisms. Or at least it would be. "You seem yourself; joyous, unfocused, distracted."
He was still a puzzle.

He studied her for a moment. Martini was not good at picking up on the subtle cues people gave off, but even he could tell that Yuriko was altered."Alas, you are not yourself, and not just in body. Why, pray tell?"
