((Gonna take this as OTA, but if it isn't, just smack me over the head. Or ignore, if you're not feeling violent.))

Logan was headed out just as Martini approached the main building. His little hands clenched to fists, and it took a hell of a lot of effort to keep the claws in.

A day. He decided to give Martini one more day. After that, it would be fix things, or lose his intestines.

Ooops, forgot to put that in the subject line! Yes, tis OTA. time_schizo December 12 2009, 02:56:40 UTC
Martini was practically walkng on air. Nothing could spoil his newfound cheerfulness. Not even a miniscule version of Logan. Rather than avoiding the grumpy bear, he scampered over to him, his usual grin back on his face.

"Ohhhh Looogaaaan," he sang out, "Guess what?"

"What?" Logan demanded, and he immediately hated himself for biting. It pissed him off that Martini was bouncing around camp all happy, with all the age issues everyone was having thanks to him. Logan knew that Martini had switched ages a couple of times himself too, but he could care less. Martini only had himself to blame - and it seemed like he was his usual age again now, anyway. Hell, Logan would assume the reason Martini was so goddamn happy was that he and Ric had been at it again, but even now Logan was a kid, he could have smelled that a mile away.

"You found yet another way to fuck up everyone's lives?"

With that attitude, Martini was very tempted to just leave Logan as an ill-tempered child forever. But that would be a very bad idea, and he would most likely end up with three parallel slashes across his arm.

"Well, I was going to say I can finally change you back now, but if you're going to act like a demanding little prick, I guess I'll rescind the offer and be on my merry way." He turned as if to walk away, unable to hide a smug grin.

She hadn't been as overly pressing as most people, she didn't mind it as much as the others. A trip to sanity made conversation a touch easier, but then again, a return to insanity would be very welcome indeed.

She didn't like this strange balance and personal acknowledgement. She wanted the blissful ignorance of her own emotions, her own desires. Other peoples were easier to deal with.

When she saw him, that smug little look on his face, she waltzed over with her usual dance like grace, her arms weaving around his neck and pulling him to a stop. "Why so happy?"

Martini felt his fellow nut put her arms around his neck, he stopped, turning towards Ophelia, happier than he had been in weeks. He wrapped his arms around her waist and spun her around once or twice before setting her back down again.

He briefly wondered what his emotions felt like to Ophelia, with all the giddiness and joy inside his head right now. "I've got my powers back under control!"

She'd actually thought it was something to do with Rictor. They way his emotions fluxed into that happy, content, 'proud of himself' kind of way. It was all very light and 'fluffy' in a manner of speaking.

"Really? Well that's nice," and she was only being polite by not demanding herself to be changed back immediately. Wade had asked her before if she missed her insanity, and she'd down played it something terrible.

She missed it more than words could say, even her insane, rhyming, rambling words wouldn't cover it. "It's just as well in some cases, the energiser bunny does eventually run out of steam you know." And she hoped Martini would get her point.

With some of the others, Martini might have messed with their heads a little, not turning them back right away. But he cared a great deal for Ophelia, and wouldn't be that cruel to her.

He knew how much she missed being her normal self, and truth be told he missed it as well. Insanity was a lonely road to travel, and having company made it just a little easier.

"Let's skip the rest of the chocolate cookie pleasantries, and get right to the good center part of the Oreo. Want to be changed back right this instant?"

*Tristan wandered the camp in search of Martini. If he could age him to this age, maybe, just maybe, he could leave him here. Sure, Owen would no longer be the oldest and his parents might have an issue with it but he'd be safe again. People would be able to stand near him without fear of having their throats torn out if he shifted. In the end it was Martini's choice, he just hoped he could convince him that in the long term it was for the best.*

Martini was still on a bit of high from having his powers back. He was bouncing, quite literally, around the camp outside. He had so little to do, and so much time in which to do it. Or was it the other way around?

He spied someone approaching him that he did not recognize. Focusing for a moment, he saw the man as he had once been, and then how he would look later. Looks like putting up with being an old man had left him something good after all. It was Tristan. He stopped bouncing like a lunatic for a moment. "What's up?"

Not a lot.

*Tristan fidgeted. He wasn't sure how well Martini would take his question and it made him nervous.*

Actually, I have a question... *he waved to himself*... about this.

Martini sighed, stopping his bouncing yet again. It seemed like he had been getting the same question over and over again. At least now he could give them all a concrete answer, instead of vague ifs and whens.

"If you want to know when I can change you back, the answer is right now, if you'd like."

The news travelled faster than Martini happy dancing. Jessie figured she should go and find him. It was time to be her right age again. While some folks might be angry at the time-shifter, but she held no grudge against him.

There were some aspects of being six years old again that had been fun. She had dearly missed her swim fins. Before she went looking for him, she went back to her room and changed her clothes. Holding her clothes up so she could walk, she went looking for him. It didn't take her long to find him.

"Hi, Martini. Would you please?" she asked.

Martini saw the child version of Jessica heading towards him, and couldn't contain a laugh at the oversized clothes she was wearing, even as he saw the practical use of not wanting to age forward and shred their clothes in the process.

"You're ahead of the game. One speedy time manipulation, coming right up." He laid a hand on her shoulder, and sped the time forward around Jesse until she had reached the proper age of twenty-nine again. "You may feel a little disoriented afterwards, and I suggest lying down until the room stops spinning."

She knew how ridiculous she looked holding her clothes up, and giggled. "I'm a practical kinda girl."

"Whoa," she said as he laid his hand on her shoulder. It was over almost before she could blink. The time-shift made her quite dizzy. She grabbed his arm to steady herself and then slid her arms around his neck in a clumsy hug. "Thanks, Martini." She kissed him on the cheek, still giggling. "Thanks for the trip too. I think I'll take your advice and go lay down. It is really good to be back in clothes that fit."

Jessie let go of him and swayed, she put one hand on the nearby wall and slid along it heading for the rec room.

"Sorry 'bout the roller coaster feeling. It'll pass in a little bit." He was surprised as Jesse clung onto him for support, and even more so as her lips touched his cheek.

Martini was thankful Jesse was too dizzy to notice him blushing bright crimson after she hugged and kissed him. He touched the spot on his cheek, a little embarrassed. What was he, a knight in shining armor? "Don Quixote, maybe," he mutterd to himself as he walked off in search of the rest of his affected teammates. "Just charging at windmills."

She'd been avoiding things. Avoiding people. Yuriko had found herself some where quiet and cold to meditate. And between eating and sleeping -since her body once more demanded regular, undisturbed sleep, she'd kept herself away.

She felt vulnerable again. She didn't like that at all.

And so, she'd avoided everything. Until her body once more demanded food, and she had to venture out to get it.

He had been bouncing along the hallway, not looking where he was going, following one of his Things. They had something They wanted to show to him. This lasted until he bumped headfirst into someone. Reeling backwards, he rubbed the spot on his head where he had collided and looked at who he had bumped into.

Martini's unfocused eyes came back to the present as he looked at the figure before him. "Yuriko?" he asked in amazement. She looked different, not only in her figure but in the general aura she was projecting. She was always so poised, icy in demeanor, and so sure of herself. Right now, she looked small, and the confident sureness was gone. She seemed.....human.

The bump hadn't hurt. It just jarred and surprised her. She was irritated by that. And then even more irritated by her irritation. It was illogical and useless, she shouldn't be concerned with such things, and still, she was.

"Yes," her head inclined in that same way, the way she knew identified her but never bothered to change. It was her mannerisms. Or at least it would be. "You seem yourself; joyous, unfocused, distracted."

He was still a puzzle.

"You know me too well. Life is good right now. Of course I should be happy!" He gave a little hop skip towards Yuriko and grinned.

He studied her for a moment. Martini was not good at picking up on the subtle cues people gave off, but even he could tell that Yuriko was altered."Alas, you are not yourself, and not just in body. Why, pray tell?"
