With the walls completely constructed, the dry wall up and the floors down, the second building was just about finished as far as repairs were going. Mac had been called in to set up the second floor plumbing and rewire the electrics. Not that it was overly hard; everything was already fitted, the wiring was simple connect the ends and the plumbing was a cake walk. The biggest annoyance was tightening all the taps and the shower heads and God-damn if another one burst on her she was pretty much going to lose it.
She'd gotten through the first three rooms easily enough with only two of the taps coming loose before she finished and the water pretty much soaking her. By room four she was drenched and ended up taking a break on the floor, smoking a slightly damp cigarette and leafing through a magazine.
Since she still had four days before the plumbing and electric needed to be done, Mac figured leaving the rewiring until the plumbing was done was a much better idea -electrocution wasn't on her list of things to suffer through. Although she wouldn't say no to a little help -or a change of clothes since her jeans were soaked and she was down to her last t-shirt having taken off the shirt, over-t-shirt and being left in just the wife beater.
"Oh, to have a repairs company." In thirty minutes, she was calling Sykes and getting his butt up there to help. Or having someone assign Jesse to help her out.
