TEAM MEETING: Mess Hall - OTA
Ethan had made it perfectly clear that he expected everyone on camp to show up for this team briefing in the mess hall, no excuses accepted. For once it wasn't even at some stupid hour in the morning, instead it was set to begin after breakfast had finished at 08:35.
Waiting until everyone was seated and the room had fallen silent Ethan stepped up to the front, dressed in full military attire and carrying a file with him.
"So you are all aware Jefferson Hall will soon be completed and once it has been re-opened we shall be reassigning rooms to you all. These changes will be posted up on the dorms for all to see and room changes will not be permitted without a valid reason. We are also in the process of building an off site training grounds as suggested by Lieutenant Barq."
He carried on for the next twenty minutes talking about various things around camp and other bits and pieces the team needed to know about. Finally though Ethan seems to be coming to an end.
"I am not going to conclude the briefing this morning by complaining about various things that have or have not been done around camp. Instead today I will be taking making you all aware of some changes around camp." Usually Ethan went on for another good twenty minutes about the problems that the team had caused, this time however he merely glances down at his notes before continuing. "As you are all perfectly aware I owe thanks to certain members of this team for volunteering their time in executing a rescue effort; Allerdyce, Collins, Hughes, Jones, Wraith and Wilson."
He purposely left out mention of Hendley seeing as he's still in the brig as punishment for his actions against Allerdyce. "I do however also owe thanks to all of you because of your efforts in defending the camp. I am aware that you were, obviously, also fighting for your own lives but the fact that you did not turn tail and flee or abandon camp makes me proud. Because of this I feel that I should take on some advice that Frost has been giving me since your arrival on camp. As of this Wednesday you will be permitted to apply for an off camp card."
Ethan holds up a pale yellow form. "You must complete this document and bring it either myself, Frost or Barq to have it signed off and agreed. It can then be exchanged for, at the front gate, an off camp identity pass which is valid for a maximum of twelve hours only. The card will grant you permission to travel on the public transport to the nearest town of Midway. Details about bus times and other details will be posted on your bulletin board at the entrance of the mess hall, there you will find details about Midway and what it can offer."
"This also means that from now on, you will be permitted to request personal items from the lock-up. There will be limits to the amount of items you can have, for example, if you choose to have your iPod and docking bay then you will not be permitted to request other luxury or personal items. There will be the opportunity to exchange your items for others but if you do this too often then you may be refused. You will also be allowed to obtain your clothing from the lock-up though that too will be restricted and whilst on camp, between 06:30 and 18:00 hours, you will be expected to wear your allocated uniform.
