I'm coming at you guys with two book reviews. I have been on fire this past week with the reading. And you know what I'm about to do? Go down to the park a few blocks down, chill out with some wine in my water bottle, and read some Rachel Maddow.

 You guys, I couldn't get into Livejournal for days. And I thought maybe it was an issue with my browser, so I switched over to Safari (I use Firefox) and, lo and behold, I was able to log on.

I wrote this huge review for Seeds Of Faith, an excellent episode that had some great things to say. And I went to post it and . . . the connection timed out.

Let me begin by saying that I am not a Harry Potter super fan. I don't know the books like the back of my hand.

Well, I come with some good news: I made it through the initial interview to teach in a large city down south. So far, this is the only good lead I have (though I know if I have a shot at NYC come Friday) and, get a job or not, it is a slight boost for my confidence. Hooray me!

I'm due to get disc 2 of Rizzoli & Isles today from Netflix, so I want to write this review way earlier than I would normally so that I can inch even closer to finishing up season four and still have time to watch my episodes so I can turn it in and get disc three for Friday, which will catch me up for season two which starts next week.

Happy Memorial Day! Man, it's hot outside. It's about 90 degrees. In May. This isn't unheard of for Michigan, but it's not really that fun. Last night we had some severe thunderstorms across the state. Poor Violet (my dog) was shaking so much she shook herself to sleep. And now she has to contend with this heat. Yep, I'm reusing the icon. Not only could I stare at it in wonder for hours (she's really beautiful there) but it's the only one I have of just Gabrielle and, I mean, it's hard to say that the Sacrifice episodes aren't The Gabster's. So reuse it, I will! Deal with it!
