XWP: Seeds Of Faith
You guys, I couldn't get into Livejournal for days. And I thought maybe it was an issue with my browser, so I switched over to Safari (I use Firefox) and, lo and behold, I was able to log on.
I wrote this huge review for Seeds Of Faith, an excellent episode that had some great things to say. And I went to post it and . . . the connection timed out.
Now, I'd planned for that possibility (I had noticed the draft hadn't been stored for a long time so I had an inkling that I could lose it) and before I had clicked the post button, I had highlighted everything and copied it.
So, when I lost it, I simply went back into the blank text book and pasted it all. No sweat right? Except that I had to do another jump link. So I went over the other window where I get my show quotes and copied one so I could paste it into the jump textbox. And I pushed the post button again.
Again, it timed out. But, this time, I was kind of an idiot, and forgot to copy the whole thing again, because I kind of forgot that the last "copy" on my record was the quote.
So . . . I lost all of that gigantic review.
I suck.
And it was a good review, too.
So, to recap it, because there's no way I'm going to write all that out again, Renee O'Connor gave an amazing performance, Eli dies, the music is awesome, Xena is way too pissy, Gabrielle is finding herself at yet another "who do I want to be" crossroads, Ares is a badass, and Callisto, the "father" of Xena's child, is also going to be the child itself, giving new meaning to the term "alternative family".
I have Seeds Of Faith 5 out of 5 airlocks, so I'm super bummed that my real review is lost (even if I'm the only person reading).
