I have only my convictons to stand by in this city, Commander. What you say is true, but so is the needless death and suffering that has taken place since I arrived here more than half a year ago.
I have seen feats of strength from the people of this world that surprised me in ways I did not think even I could be, and I stand by my belief that if the warriors of this world were to unite, no citizen of the city would suffer needlessly at the hands of the city's less well-intentioned residents.
Listen, I don't know enough about this place to jump right on any band wagons, but I'm all for helping people, and togetherness. I'm all for putting those who're out to hurt others away for good.
Thing is, I don't know you. You're good with words, I'll give you that, and I agree with you. But I'm not joining something I don't know the first thing about. And I don't know what you'll do with this power you're asking for once you have it. And it ain't just you, it's anyone'll join you.
I understand. I don't expect anyone to commit to anything they don't know, much less trust. I believe Zelda and Samus Aran the ones currently handling matters at the Police Station, if you would like to speak to them as well.
As for me, I spend my days primarily in my dojo, in the Mariner High School gym, if you ever feel the urge to talk - or if you come across some tea that needs sharing.
I've got someone in mind. Already mentioned him to the other recruiting person. Like I told her, I wouldn't be good for it, but I think this guy could.
Eh. It's hard to explain. You need people who care about justice, right? I'm not your guy. Besides, your cops will probably need their chips out to combat these psychos.
I notice people haven't cared about this police crap, but they care when they get attacked. Since I'm not suited, I thought I'd say something about it at least.
Most will feel more confident with theirs out, I suppose, but I've known plenty of soldiers who didn't need anything more than their own bodies to be armies in and of themselves.
Well, whatever the case, I thank you for speaking in support of the campaign, at the very least.
And if you ever do feel like explaining, my dojo is in the Mariner High School gym. You're welcome to stop by if you should ever feel like it.
A man who lives as long as I have, in the military as long as I have, inevitably suffers the consequences of a war let go too long.
I hope that Discedo will never become a nation of war as my own country was. But I do hope that the people with the strength to protect those who cannot protect themselves will unite to prevent any more needless suffering and death than I have already seen here.
Your words are wise, for someone so young. What is your name, and how did you come to these convictions?
A military state would simply make the situation more unstable. It causes restlessness even in those who wish for peace.
I'm not as young as I seem, though I am no elder wise man. My name is Ichinomiya Kantarou, in my world we have just seen end a great war that involved nearly the entire world for four years. I can't say that my country was particularly stable before that either. But then, I'm a writer and a spiritualist, I'm always for the less violent approach.

If people ain't jumping on it, they may have a good reason.

But I am somewhat biased, old warhorse that I am.

What would you propose be done about those who cause crime in the city?
