Can I tell you how much I love my new anti-seizure medication? We've had quite a stressful week around here, culminating in a very stressful day, and yet I've been pretty cheerful and mostly calm all day. I feel like the old me, before the zonisamide that made me the cranky mom from hell ( Read more... )

We're here for the venting - it's cool.

So yeah, it sounds like.... you have a lot going on. I hope at some point in all the craziness you are able to sit down and take a few minutes for yourself. :)

Oh yeah - I'm assuming this is the SIL whose baby wouldn't turn? Did she do the extraversion, did baby turn? (I mean, I see that she had to have a C-section, but that doesn't necessarily answer the other questions....) Anyway: glad she had a healthy baby! Congrats all around to the whole family!

At 12:30 AM, I finally had time to breathe :) No shower yet though.

They did the extraversion, and she flipped from transverse to breech, and then back. Then she started flipping on her own- breech one way, then breech the other. But never the right way. The had planned a scheduled section on the 17th, just in case she'd turn on her own, but then she went into labor. Perfect timing though- the in-laws will be here just in time to help out.
