per #9--Maybe we should also stop eating them, exploiting them, and experimenting on them. I assume then you are vegan? Companion pets are the least of the worry there

well, killing them for food is alright with me. but experimenting and exploiting? not really. But do I think that testing on a couple of animals to the save the human race is a valid reason to do it? yes. It depends, but my general answer is NO ( ... )
