• Visiting my boss and former Ringling Bandmaster Brett.
• Visiting Val, a former Ringling elephant handler, now an elephant keeper with the Cincinnati Zoo.

A: I forget his name, and he's passed away since. But in my first year of college I had a chamber brass instructor who was supposed to be working with two student quintets, alternating days with us.
