The usual loading up the bus and riding to the airport on Monday.

We arrived with about an hour to wait, and many people used the time to get breakfast and whatnot.

I was up early to have breakfast and finish packing before the charter buses arrived.
I tried the hawthorn Oreos, since it's not like they'd be BAD. Not sure about you, but I've never had a bad Oreo in my life!

I felt lowkey lousy on Monday, likely due to stress and having pinched some nerve somewhere while carving pumpkins. The joys of getting old I suppose, hunching over a big gourd with your arm in the air for two hours is no longer a thing you can do without consequences ( Read more... )

October 8 and 9 were the anniversaries of my dad and mom's deaths, respectively.

My mom passed away in October 2001 due to pancreatic cancer. She died within four months of diagnosis.
