First off, I'm really glad you liked this. I like Nicole, and frankly if they're not going to give us canon Dean/Carter (which unfortunately is highly unlikely unless they indulge my kinks and have gay-undercover), I wouldn't mind seeing her and Carter try to reconcile. So yeah, I wrote her classy.

I'm toying with the idea of writing the birthday party next. And possibly Dean and Carter finding out that Nicole's dating Jaimie, because a) I have a weakness for Jaimie femslash and b) it would be hilariously cracky. I just need some ideas on how they could have met, so if you have some, send them on over, pretty please?

**snickers** Oh Dean. And I really like your Nicole. I especially like the "Talent and gun or not, I'm going to get creative on you" line. And the idea of Dean going out to bask naked but still carrying his gun makes me lol so much. YAY!!

I have a great big protective!kink, so of course Nicole's going to make sure Dean's taking proper care of Carter, including threatening him. Just because they couldn't make the marriage thing work doesn't mean they don't still care.

As I said, I like Nicole, and actually have something of a soft spot for Carter/Nicole despite being primarily a Dean/Carter girl.

All that time undercover has Dean a little paranoid about making sure there's a weapon at hand (even if he is naked at the time). Also, yes, the lol factor.

The Easter timing was more or less coincidental, but it worked. And I'm glad it was properly appreciated and enjoyed, especially since I was a little worried you'd be disappointed because you'd been waiting so long for it.

Yeah, Carter/Nicole is just sweet in a way that not even Ty/Melissa touches. Carter smiled with Nicole. **Perks up** I've got a sudden idea for a pre-divorce Carter/Nicole sweetness. **grins maniacally**

I don't really mind waiting, just so long as stories/series get finished. I mean, yeah, I'll poke and prod about it, but I don't mind waiting.

Oh, yeah, you do :). Mandy's all kinds of protective about Dean (and probably about Ryan too, although that's offscreen). I got to indulge that kink twice so far for this. (Gianna, Dean's pseudo-mom, gets to step up for Dean when she talks to Carter and the thought was pretty much always to have Nicole step up for Carter when she met Dean).

I'd really like to see Carter and Nicole being sweet together. Because yes, they do kind of make me go aww...And them still caring occasionally shows up in my fic (this, Claim, maybe something else.)

Ty and Melissa really don't bring the awws as much, although it's fairly obvious they care. And can read each other's signals (that scene in O.I.S. where Frye comes over and Melissa has to talk to him while Ty's making signs over his head, for instance.)

I still have that Ty/Dean, Ty/Melissa, Ty/Dean/Melissa angst fest percolating on the back burner (because I find Ty needing Dean but loving Melissa interesting in a messed-up angsty sort of way ( ... )

I'm glad you appreciated the imagery. Because yes, naked Dean with gun would be yummy. Nicole thought so too, by the way, as the "pretty as the sight was" line makes clear.

I want to hook Nicole and Jaimie up for this 'verse (so Dean and Carter can run into Jaimie at Alex's birthday party and be shocked), but I have no idea how they could have met, so suggestions would be muchappreciated.

I know--I want new eps already. Although I really hope Tricia Helfer isn't going to be a love interest (unless she's Jaimie's, which would be about twenty kinds of awesome). Also, I want gay-undercover already--give me some Dean/Carter, Dean/Ty, or Jaimie femslash (I don't really want Ty/Carter, though). Barring that, Dean as a stripper would be hot.

I've got a huge protection!kink too, so a) Carter's protective instincts kick in for Dean, b) Gianna threatens Carter to make sure he takes care of her pseudo-son, and c) Nicole plans to be creative if Dean doesn't treat Carter right. (And yeah,both women can back up their threats).

Superpower fic is generally cool. I never thought I'd be writing something that's practically the X-universe, though.

On the other hand, despite finding it intriguing and sometimes amusing, I never thought I'd be writing someone having the parts of the gender they're not normally, and I produced Shattered Reflection, which is 85K and Dean's physically a woman for half of it ( ... )
