Have some more chameleon-verse. Dean meets Nicole under unusual circumstances (and after a time jump). Sorry, still no porn, and short. dime_for_12 provided read-through/beta services.
I've got a huge protection!kink too, so a) Carter's protective instincts kick in for Dean, b) Gianna threatens Carter to make sure he takes care of her pseudo-son, and c) Nicole plans to be creative if Dean doesn't treat Carter right. (And yeah, both women can back up their threats).
Superpower fic is generally cool. I never thought I'd be writing something that's practically the X-universe, though.
On the other hand, despite finding it intriguing and sometimes amusing, I never thought I'd be writing someone having the parts of the gender they're not normally, and I produced Shattered Reflection, which is 85K and Dean's physically a woman for half of it.
I've got a kink for the whole UST/slow-burn thing, and I keep writing Carter with one (because he just seems to be the kind of guy who'd get off on that most of the time).
The current thought is that at some point (maybe birthday party, maybe random occasion) Carter and Dean are going to find out Jaimie's dating Nicole. Because Jaimie/Nicole is totally my crack ship (I have a thing for hooking Jaimie up with women, they'd be pretty together, and Jaimie as a stepmama makes me aww...)
And yeah, at some point (hopefully) there will be Carter/Dean porn in this 'verse. As I mentioned, I think this is the 'verse where Carter's never been with a guy. Most of the time I figure he's at least experimented, Trinity-verse and Unexpected he's got semi-lengthy friends-with-benefits guy experience.
Dark Blue just seems to bring out the angst (see Not Quite, and I've got a back-burnered one where Ty and Dean never quit the friends-with-benefits thing, Ty finally fesses up, and Melissa decides she wants a piece of her husband's piece on the side that's pretty damn angsty).
Carter totally has a possessive streak--and I like the thought that Dean's serious enough about Carter to bring out his.
I see the pompoms and appreciate the cheer. Maybe when I'm not doing data entry, because it's killing my creativity--sorry.
