Stabbed in the back/Fired by the LT

I got a call this evening asking me to step down as a senior ref. I asked what would happen if I refused and was told that it wasn't actually a request. I was told I could stay on in a lesser position.

The reasons that were given were that I have upset some people in other departments and there has been some issues with my reffing. As for the
