I love that Chris Evans had shorter hair and hasn't been as bulked up as in Cap 1. He's sooooo hot like this. ♥
As soon as I saw Robert Redford I knew that something was up with his character. You don't cast someone like him and don't have something huge going on with his character. It's just been the question - something good or something bad. :)
I think the only person in the cinema who did not know Winter Soldier was Bucky, was my Mom.Me too (well, if I wouldn't have been spoiled for it two days before I watched the movie via an untagged post on Tumblr :/)! I've never read the comics and I avoided the trailers as much as I could (I think, I saw one Trailer and looking back, there was the Winter Soldier in there and I should have recognized him... *facepalm*), so that was (almost) a surprise for me
( ... )
The 'on your left bit' is from the beginning of the movie - when Sam is running and Cap keeps lapping him. Each time Steve runs past him, he says 'on your left' - which annoys Sam :D
Crossbones (in the comics) is one of Steve's enemies/villians - the tough soldier he worked with at Shield, who turned out to be a Hydra agent and fought Sam at the end, and then the building fell on him - he becomes Crossbones.
I definitely want to and plan to see the movie again. I *have* to. So much good and you're right - SO many buttons - for Steve and Bucky. Gah... I just love it!!
The slimmer, less bulky Chris was just *swoon* so awesome and well... I love his and Natasha's interaction and just want MORe MOrE Avenger interaction and banter and bouncing off each other *\o/*
Yeah, but I don't get why it annoys Sam. I mean, he just says "On your left". Is that some runner code or something? *scratches head*
Oh, that will be interesting. *____* I've wondered why we've been shown that that Hydra Agent survived...
I wish I could. But at the moment they are showing it at 4pm and 8.45pm which is either way too early or way too late for me. :( But, there is always the DVD (and therefore no stupid 3D glasses.). :) The buttons for those two have been pushed so much during the movie (and when Bucky goes to the museum and sees his plaque thingy? *meeep*). And then some things for Natasha too. And Sam. *loves*
He's so awesome the way he looks in the movie. So droolworthy. ♥ Me too. I can't wait to have them all together in Avengers 2. Just think of Bucky meeting Bruce (I *really* hope that Bucky is going to be in Avengers 2 too). Or Tony. Or Clint. ♥___♥
Have fun with it! I need to look up if it's already out on DVD over here too...
I think it annoys Sam more because Cap is lapping him so often and the 'on your left' is his polite way of acknowledging 'I'm faster than you' and that annoys Sam :D
*squeeeeee!!!* Wasn't it amazing!!! Your review is far more eloquent than mine :)
Am not really that familiar with the Marvel 'verse so don't know who Crossbones is so totally missed him/her. And I overheard someone say at the movie after the first snippet at the end that the twins were Quicksilver and Red Witch???
The tough Shield soldier who worked with Steve and then turned out to be a Hydra agent... we see him survive the buidling falling on him... that's Crossbones, one of Cap's enemies in the comics
I recognised Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, who I know from X-men and Iron Man comics... interesting!
