My goals before turning 40
Really? DO I have only five years before I hit 40? Wow, that makes me feel old! Okay, so now that I am 35 I am creating a bucket list of things I want completed before turning 40.
1. Get a guitar and have lessons. - I received a guitar for my 35th birthday!
2. Get a full time teaching job. (And this doesn't necessarily have to be in music.)

But really, that's just petty because the hardest thing is learning to trust God everyday knowing that He will be victorious in all situations that come across your life. Christ has risen!
For me to say "Christ has risen!" and not celebrating Easter this year is kind of an oxymoron statement, don't you think so? This Easter I concentrated on giving up myself for lent. I don't know what makes you quit writing after being in a relationship. I think it's because you're always balancing life as well as spending time with your significant other. Just balancing life alone keeps you plenty busy!

Some updates
My poor Alvin had a miserable night because of me. I've been sick enough that my manager made me go home early today. ugh. Last night I ended up having PMS, headache and a cold all in one shot! LOL Poor Alvin told me that he'll eventually have to get used to ahving a woman around the house, especially if we do get married in the future. =)

I GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just so amazed at what the Lord has done in my life. God has done it yet again. Each miracle I think He couldn't top, but He shows me up all the time! =) I now have two degrees to my name. My Associates in Arts transfer degree, and now, FINALLY - My Bachelor of Arts in General Music with a Minor in Professional education ( Read more... ) -
