So, for one of my Christmas gifts, Dave and I adopted a dog yesterday. His name is Hunter (after Hunter S. Thompson) and he is SUCH an impossibly good dog. And a smart one. And a champion snuggler. I am so in love with him.

It recently dawned on me that my LJ is two months from turning 10. While I don't use this site nearly as much as I used to, my dwindling patience for certain species of bullshit is pretty much demanding that I embrace this looming milestone as an opportunity to do some housekeeping.
