Shin - Dinner! (Open) brbgonefishin February 28 2010, 15:54:19 UTC
Shin's eyes were wide open, but he couldn't see anything beyond the rough fabric of the blindfold. Judging by the stone against his back, he'd beenchained to a wall some somewhere -- maybe underground? In truth, he didn't know where he was or who was with him. He didn't remember anything after Rido had taken him, and he'd woken up like this.

Hanging in Arago's chains kidnapped by that freak with the power being pulled from him

This wasn't then. He closed his eyes and forced a few deep breaths through his teeth, reminding himself that this wasn't then. The chains holding him were cold metal, not energy. They couldn't reach into him, yanking at the bond to his Yoroi like Arago had.

Just cold metal. He could get out of this. He could.

If he couldn't eat them, he might as well talk at them. Not necessarily with them, of course. The Master sniffed at Shin. "Chains. I wonder, is that really necessary?"

Shin heard the sound of someone moving toward him, then the unmistakable sound of -- was he being smelled? His muscles tensed up and he fell still, ceasing his struggles against the chains. It was no good; they had him bound tight anyway.

"Certainly not. Why don't you let me down and we can talk this out?" He suggested as sweetly as he could. It was hard to keep the bite out of his voice, when all he wanted was to be let down. Just let him get his hands on something sharp.

The Master laughed. It was really sweet how they thought asking that would work.

"Oh, of course, I'll do that," he said. "Right away." He pursed his lips. "Then again, we're talking now. Why do you need to be freed to keep talking?"

Myrnin-Guest Arrival I suppose? trapdoor_spider February 28 2010, 20:19:33 UTC
Myrnin had arrived fashionably late. Of course. He is dressed to the nines, if the nines were stuck somewhere in the mid nineteenth century. There were short pants with tights, ruffles, velvet and yes even beading. He's got a cane with a silver head and he makes his way through the cave, slipping through the shadows as he takes stock of the situation at hand. It definitely is interesting. He hasn't been to this kind of dinner party in years and it's exciting. Oh he knows it's wrong. Myrnin's sense of morality is aware of that. Unfortunately his sense of self just doesn't care about the wrong right now; not when dinner is trussed up so very nicely. A creepy smile curves his lips as he steps out of the shadows. His cane is stuck under his arm and he claps as he walks toward the center of the room.

"This truly is a lovely dinner display."

Even with Rido's back turned, he could sense the approach of the other vampire as he came down the darkened tunnel that led to the dining hall. At last, another of his kind. Even if he was just a lesser vampire, it was good to feel that old familiarity once again.

Turning, he let his hand slide off of the surface of the stone sarcophagus and he moved to greet their guest. "So glad you approve~."

He offered the man a smile and a polite nod of the head in acknowledgment. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Rido Kuran, of the Royal House of Kuran." It was tedious that he had to explain what every vampire should have known just by being in his presence, but the creatures in the City seemed to always be deaf, dumb, and blind to the obvious.

[ooc: Pureblooded vampires from the world of 'Vampire Knight' emit a kind of awe striking aura which is felt by the nobles and lesser vampires in the series. (Of course, this being a multiverse, people can either play with that or not~.)]

Myrnin has been around long enough that he recognizes an old//powerful vampire when he runs upon one. Of course, as long as he's been around, he's no slouch himself. The title Rido provides confirms what the tickle up and down his spine as has already told him. He smirks a bit, almost in defiance but bows slightly.

"And I am Myrnin. It is a pleasure to meet you. I take it this party is yours?"

The vampire displayed a slight sign of deference... and while it showed he had good sense, it was a far cry away from what Rido was used to.

He paused, studying Myrnin for a few moments before answering. "I'm pleased to see you have some manners, it's so rare here. But yes~. This is mine, as well as his..." He made a sweeping gesture over to the Master.

"No doubt, you know him~."

Guest Arrival; Rip van Winkle der_freischuetz February 28 2010, 20:41:18 UTC
Rip van Winkle arrived at the cave humming a little melody. The musket, nearly as long as she herself was tall, leant against her shoulder, held in place by one gloved hand. Wearing one of her usual black suits she was easy to confuse with a man, if it weren't for her voice and perhaps the long hair.

Naturally they had found themselves a quiet location for this, though she hadn't expected the main course~ to be set up already. Oh, that was splendid! No waiting, then. A pity this evening consisted not only of dinner and hopefully amusement, but also duty. Therefore she needed to keep herself from getting too distracted. Truly, wasn't that a shame? With this in mind, she looked around, spotting several familiar faces. Mister Master, of course, Mister Rido- and Aion. Now, if that wasn't a surprise.

This would prove to be interesting.

After making sure that the guests were indeed following the right path, Aion entered the main area to socialize himself. The Eagle was sufficient enough so far which was a good thing. He had no intention of running anymore errands for a simple gathering. It was only a fair gesture on his part to show his hosts his appreciation for the opportunity. Nothing more. The demon always held his own interest above all and there wasn't anyone who was more dedicated to accomplishing his goals than he was.

There were quite a few familiar faces and then there were others. Spotting Rip, he decided he'd start with her- One of the familiar faces within the room.

"As expected, Millennium truly has an impressive network. I thought you'd be here, Lieutenant." Aion spoke in a low voice as he stopped right beside her with both hands in his pockets.

And there he was! Rip was glad that it had been him speaking to her first; she had not been sure if she was allowed to know him or if she would have to put on a performance with him, too.

Grinning at Aion, she lowered her voice as well. Although it was merely because he did.

"What would an organisation be without a network?" How hard she had worked for that. "However, your presence is more astonishing. I thought you prefer yet to keep yourself hidden?"

He chuckled to her answer and slyly averted his eyes to look at her. "One can't expect to gain trust from future allies hidden now, don't you agree?" He continued to keep his voice low to keep things private. The sinner still wasn't acquainted with the others enough to freely have them listen in on their conversation for one.

Looking from person to person, Aion finally decided to ask for her assistance. One always had an upper hand if he knew at least something of the person he was about to speak to. "Anyone specific you recommend? The only ones I know in this room are the two hosts besides you, Millennium. Unless there were others I wasn't informed of."

Damien - Guest reignforever February 28 2010, 23:52:02 UTC
Damien couldn't say that he was expecting the...scenery but he couldn't really say that he was displeased with it, either. For a moment he thought that someone had figured out his identity - after all, amongst those who worship his father, human sacrifices weren't exactly uncommon events. He didn't think there was any way someone could've figured it out already, but either way he was quite amused with it.

He sat down at one of the chairs, not saying anything. For now, he was just going to observe. He couldn't let his true side show to just anyone, after all.

[ooc; sorry I'm late ._. I got called in to work tonight so I have to go but I will reply when I get back!]

The Master eyed the new arrival from across the room for a little while before walking over and pulling up a chair.

"I don't know you," he said. "I didn't even know Rido had friends. Or people who weren't enemies. But you must be meant to be here because otherwise, you'd be dead." He paused, sniffing slightly. "You're not a vampire, though."

Damien wasn't quite sure who this was. Another host, he assumed, perhaps a member of the same royal family as Rido.

"No. I'm a diplomat." he said, "And I've been a great many places I ought not to be and nothing's quite done me in yet. But I was invited here."

"Aha!" laughed the Master. "Oh, I've dealt with people like you before. I used to be the Prime Minister of the UK. How interesting, that you're human, at a vampiric party." At least he was fairly certain he was human. He smelt a bit off, like Justin, but not quite like Justin. Odd.

Grell - Guest deathbutler March 1 2010, 01:50:03 UTC
Really, while part of him found the entire ordeal a little bit too cliche- a dark, secret meeting, truly?... he couldn't help excusing it. After all, for an event like this, one could set aside the fashionable and simply enjoy the show.

And so, as usual, Grell looked his best, tailored suit and new tie, his crimson hair tied back in a loose tail, low heels clicking smartly as he made his entrance, the reflection on his glasses hiding his eyes briefly, but not the sharp, toothy smile.

How deliciously morbid.

With every guest that arrived, the Master was closer to actually being able to eat. Social events were fine but he'd be able to relax once he could eat at least one person and perhaps enjoy himself a bit more.

All the same, he could do polite. Somewhat. Especially with an ally.

"Grell," he said, approaching him, and then stopped to puzzle out what to say beyond that point. "Hello. Welcome. So glad you made it!"

"Master, your new look is..." Grell had no need to hide the critical look as he surveyed the new appearance, lips pursed somewhat.

"... Scraggly. But we can work with that." A shrug and a wag of his finger.

"That aside- how dark this evening seems to be~ Congratulations~"

"Thanks," said the Master in response to the congratulations. "I'm glad you appreciate it. What do you mean, 'work with that'?"
