This was a Tuesday six years ago, too.  The weather was much nicer.

I woke up shortly after 8, and went to the Promenade and started shooting.  This morning, they had me do the same.  Granted, it's raining, but there was hardly anyone out there today.

It's official!

Or, at least, it has been for 360 years...

Today, in 1646, Dutch authorities officially recognized Brooklyn (or "Breukelen" as it was then known) as a municipal entity. The Mistake of '98 notwithstanding, we're still the swellest darn city around!

Well, golly-gee. The Post has finally beaten the News in circulation. While the News reports 693,382 daily copies sold, the Post reported 704,011. And now the Post is gloating in its pages, calling the Daily News a "second-fiddle."
