One large Honey Crisp and one T. Marzetti low-fat caramel apple dip in portion-controlled serving cup = 4 WW points! Sweet!

lol, do NOT think you can control yourself if you use the big dish of this wonderful caramel stuff!

And the diet update is: still losing and not so very unhappy about it. I gots new cloz! (Yea! It's fall, I can shop!)

Notice how carefully I do NOT talk about my children this week. Am quite proud of them, but also learning, yet again, about establishing boundaries with people who just don't *get* other people.

Sigh.

Related: Read the latest Newsweek article on "quirky kids" -- it does a real disservice to kids with autism. The kids described in the article are much more than quirky, but the parental voice writing the article wants to avoid calling them adhd or autistic. In my experience, avoiding a huge problem like high-functioning autism is the way seeds for a lot of heart-breaks get planted.

But at any rate, setting new boundaries with autistic people is like pulling teeth. I don't know if the relationship can survive it. We'll see.
