Today, a dialog about infidelity on the Early Show. They recapped sound-byte reports of recent politician philanderings,* followed by panel banter between an anthropologist, a male author of a book more/less about why he cheated (and lost his marriage), and another (female) author.

See story about our too smart for her own good dog Peanut.

Got on the scale today. Been dreading the moment. Was quite convinced I had gained at least 5, maybe 10 pounds over the Christmas holiday. All physical evidence to the contrary. (Clothes still fitting, etc.)

I was truly convinced I had 'blown' my diet.

Clothing does stretch. Really, it does!

My boss asked for "some sentences" explaining why we need to write a reference guide to expound upon a "BNF" formulation of the syntax (grammar) for a programming language.

For non-code-monkeys, BNF is a cryptical but reasonably precise way to describe the grammatical rules of a programming language. ( Read more... )
